I had such a great experience in Hammi's home, i felt welcome and cared for. It stayed there for 2 weeks. It was like a second home, Hammi & her husband treated me like a daughter and I'm very greatful for their kindness. Hanna, her daughter, was very responsive as well, she explained how to get from the airport to the location, helped me get a sim card, and over my stay, whenever i needed help she was always very responsive over the phone. The room is at the top floor of the house. The house is very well kept, very clean. Makdes does a wonderful job everyday, and she helped me so much while I was there. Just near the house, there is a really nice local restaurant where you can have very tasty Ethiopian food and coffee. I loved that place! Also, there's local shops where you can buy fruits, water and anything you may need for your stay within walking distance. Overall, i'm happy i chose Hammi's home for my stay and i would do it again whenever I'll be back in Addis. Thank you! <3

Robel and Meriam are the most amazing hosts ! They did everything for me to feel extremely comfortable. The apartment is gorgeous, practical and super comfortable. You can walk to a lot of places like a gym, spa, coffees, banks, ethio telecom, Friendship park, near the apartment. I wanted to thank you guys SO much for your warm welcoming and for everything.

The lodge is right on the lake with greenery surrounding and some tortoises and rabbits running around. The pictures don’t do this place justice. You just have to be there. The place has an antique vibe. You wake up to the beautiful view of the lake and sounds of the birds. You can kayak, swim, feed fish or rent out a boat out into the lake either sundowner or during the day or they organise for you to see other lakes (Green crater lake). The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They give local recommendations, especially as I was travelling alone they made sure I was safe especially in moving around. I want to extend my utmost gratitude to the team. I felt right at home. Thank you so much!! Highly highly recommend. Book it don’t even think about it, it’s one of the best spots on the lake.

Koki was a great receptionist and help. Derejes accommodated and was very flexible with me and my family by letting us check in earlier as our flight was landing 9am. Derejes responses were quick as I messaged the night before booking asking for this accommodation. The restaurant downstairs was also very good and authentic italian food also allowing us to order up to our room as well!. The room was very modern and clean and had everything we needed such as an oven, stove, fridge and washing machine. They also let us pick between two rooms with two different views ( we chose the one with the free soccer game! ). The room was the exact same as the photos and in an excellent location. overall loved the experience and the space felt like home with multiple bedrooms for a great price❤️ and I am even booking again for my last week in ethiopia! we stayed for about 10 days with my wife and family members. the kitchen was adequate, bathroom was clean and we always had warm water. it was quite and we felt Home. the Host were very responsive, usually respond within few minutes for texts. she was awesome.
