Wonderful Getaway! Just as described - sweet cottage with a huge, wrap-around, screened porch overlooking the water. The property is very peaceful with lovely loon calls each evening. You have your own, great swimming area with a big dock and beautiful, clear water. We loved exploring the lake with the kayaks & pedal boat. The cottage is top notch clean, with thoughtful amenities and lots of towels, blankets, kitchen supplies & grill utensils. Also, having a washer, dryer and dishwasher is a bonus! Myra & Charlie are super friendly & available, while giving you plenty of space & privacy. We'll definitely be back!

Of course it is a little hard to navigate the backroads leading to the cabin (Apple Maps did a good job for me but several others were led astray) and of course there are many neighborhood critters living in and around the cabin, but that's what we expected going in! What we did not expect was for Lori and Rob to be SO kind and communicative throughout, and so accommodating of our many strange demands! 🙂 Our team of four scientists stayed here for two months over the summer (we performed lots of biodiversity surveys on the trails around the property and conducted a large-scale field experiment right outside the cabin). It was a lot of people for one small cabin, but everything went incredibly smoothly -- the abundant and beautiful nature helped keep us all in a good mood. ☺️ Next time we need dark skies and fireflies, we'll be back!

Cute and comfortable cabin. We had a nice stay, close to the events we were attending. There was convenient access for kayaking on the lake. Would definitely recommend.

This is the perfect location for spending your summer days outside! You can be in or on the water all day long. We spent most of our time swimming and kayaking but there is also a quiet camp road the kids could ride their bikes on while we enjoyed a walk. Campfires every night can't be beat, especially with the gorgeous sunset. Beautiful spot and plenty to do outside! Great for getting the kids off the electronics for the week. Scott was super helpful and responsive. We arrived late on the holiday weekend and he made sure we were all set to get in and use the camp! Would definitely recommend and hope to go back in the future!
