Monthly Rentals in Lakeville

Always clean and very comfortable, we find this a great place to stay. Chris is a great host and very accommodating. We visit the area often and have stayed at both this cottage and his larger rental on the waterfront where he allows water access to his dock and kayaks etc. (Highly recommended for larger families- it has a Beautiful view!) We will be back in the future. Always meets our needs just fine!

Robert's vacation home is super cozy and beautiful. The vaulted ceiling makes the bungalow feel very spacious. There are lots of nice touches and decor, a comfy couch in front of the large flat screen, two little corner sitting areas for reading or breakfast, and a cute little outdoor seating area right in front of the house with views of the lake. The kitchen also feels spacious with a huge island. There is one main room with tons of natural light and windows so it was easy to have a nice cool breeze. Robert was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We stayed for over a week and liked it very much, would definitely come back. There are three little beaches just steps away. My only regret is we did not have time/the weather to go swimming. The area is super quiet and surrounded by trees. Highly recommend. A few things to know: if you are doing serious cooking recommend bringing a large saute pan or other pot, main bedroom bed is on the firm side.

Craig’s place on Pelican Bog at Wood Pond was the ideal retreat for our moms’ weekend getaway. Even with a bit of rain, we fully enjoyed the peaceful outdoor space—fishing off the dock, a refreshing dip in the water, and the pond swing, which was such a relaxing and unexpected highlight. The home itself exceeded our expectations. The living room was so much cozier and more spacious than the photos showed—perfect for lounging, laughing, and catching up. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making meal prep a breeze. We didn’t find ourselves needing a single thing. Craig was incredibly responsive and took a lot of care to make our stay enjoyable including putting the fishing poles, kayaks, and chairs out for us so enjoy right as we arrived. The air hockey table was also a really great addition. All in all, it was the perfect setting for reconnecting and unwinding. We would absolutely come back!

Mary was super communicative throughout our entire five night stay! She even stopped by our door to make sure everything was okay! When we needed more coffee, she immediately brought a new bag of high quality coffee to our door. When we asked for help with the thermostat, she emailed detailed directions, and from then on we had no problem setting the temperature where we wanted it. We experienced true January weather - bitter cold and very windy - yet the apartment was comfortable, warm and cozy! Despite the winter weather, a couple times we even got in a bit of exercise as there is a small park with walking paths, pond, and play area about a five minute walk from the Airbnb! The apartment was extremely quiet and a perfect location for us as we traveled from PA to spend a belated Christmas holiday with our son and his family who lived five minutes away.
