Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Winnebago

The house worked out great for our family weekend getaway! We had lots of kids & they had an absolute blast. Lots of water toys for them to enjoy! Sleeping arrangements worked ok for us, with lots of kids, but if it were a house full of adults, not many big beds. Hosts were right next door & very friendly.

Beautiful place, good restaurants in Elkhart Lake and five minutes away from Road America. We stayed here while attending the races. Peaceful, did not hear any of the noise from the track.

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful cabin in the nature. The location was incredibly quiet and relaxing — the perfect escape from the city. The hot tub was a dream, especially at night under the stars, and the smoker was top-notch for preparing delicious BBQ. The cabin was spotless and everything was easy to find. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, including thoughtful extras for BBQ supplies. You can tell the hosts really put care into every detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home — and then some!

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our selves very much! Pros about staying: Full Kitchen - I had everything I needed to cook and serve. Seasoning and sauces available too Coffee Bar - Had a cute coffee area with flavors, teas, coffee, big comfy cups and more Hot Tub - Clean, comfy, private.. loved it! Lake View - Beautiful Views, easy access to the lake. gorgeous sunrises and sunsets that you can look at through the large windows or the patio. Clean - Very Clean home! Bedrooms - Large bedrooms with closet space to put your clothing in. Ceiling fans in each room. Cot and a pack and play available. Comfy soft beds with plenty of pillows and blankets Dining - table for 8 and a kitchen island that seats 6 Entertainment - Plenty of board games Communication - he sent us "how to" videos on how to use the fire pit and hot tub - genius if you ask me! Appliances - Great, clean washer and dryer and Dish washer. Air Conditioner was easy to use and access. Shower - water pressure was great!

This was a charming and unique place. The grounds are really lovely. It's right on the main road that runs alongside the lake, but we never heard any traffic. Plenty of parking in the driveway, nice size, fully equipped kitchen, and the owner proactively texted me to invite any questions I might have. Easy, manageable checkout tasks. The restaurants right down the street were really good! There isn't a grocery store nearby, but we brought everything we would need so not an issue.

Our stay was very restful with an absolutely beautiful view from both outside and inside. The kayaking was amazing on the clear water. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Rachael Cottage was everything we wanted and more. Cozy, comfortable, and had some of the most beautiful views of the Wolf River. Very safe and friendly neighborhood.

Great weekend family stay at Sandra’s place. Kids did not want to leave. We used the kayaks on both sides of the house. Saw lots of birds, fish (the carp were laying eggs, caught catfish in the river), turtles and a little otter. The boardgames and super Mario were fun at the end of the day. Sandra made us comfortable. Little extras around to make us at home. Easy checkout process.

Stayed here on numerous occasions on frequent work trips to the area. Always a great stay. Nice place to stay when away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenna’s place. A perfect location on the lake, fantastic backyard and plenty of amenities. Would definitely love to return!

despite the cold and windy weather we spent wonderful days in a very cozy and clean house where there is everything necessary for a comfortable life. My husband and his friend caught a lot of fish. That's exactly what they wanted. We highly recommend everyone to take advantage of the rest in this house!

This is our third stay at Annie and Joe's, and it never disappoints. Clean, comfy, a sun porch to relax on, a nice yard for the dogs to run around, and literally steps to the beach (which has an entire dog friendly section). Really the perfect lake house!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place we were supposed to stay was canceled last minute and we had to find somewhere to stay quickly. Tamara was very responsive and helped us as soon as I contacted her. She was very kind and helpful during our trip! 5/5 recommend!

So let’s start with just how warm and welcoming Lars & Nikki are - they were incredibly helpful and responsive with local recommendations and assistance - our stay was a breeze! And the cottage was just as welcoming. Cozy, close to everything in Green Bay and 10 minutes from Lambeau Field. Lars & Nikki went above and beyond in stocking the cabin with everything we could possibly need for our visit. If you’re looking for a great place to stay for a Packers game or a wonderful bay-front getaway with beautiful views, look no further!

Charming house, private location but still very close to town. All the amenities that are needed were there and clearly labeled, so easy to find. The automatic door lock scared our dog, but was a nice security feature for us humans. The fenced in area of the yard was nice, but even better was the ability to walk down the long driveway and around the pond with our dog- she loved that. There were a lot of dead asian beetles upstairs, but I understand those can be out of the owners control. We loved the property on a rainy and foggy December weekend- I imagine it would be amazing if we came back during the summer when we could sit outside and enjoy a fire and the night sky. Thanks Alexandria for being a great host for our Christmas getaway.

The home was fabulous. It was a great size. They had plenty of dishes, pots and pans, everything you could think of. It was well stocked with games and puzzles. They provided life jackets and paddle boards and kayaks. The porch was delightful to sit in and have coffee in the morning and look out at the lake. There was a a beautiful fire pit and they provided great wood. Beds were very comfortable. There is also a great restaurant/bar a block and a half away that you can walk to. I would highly recommend if your in the area to book it.

Michelle’s place was very well appointed, and cozy. It was very clean, and convenient. We were in town for a running event, so we didn’t venture out much. What we saw of the town it was very quiet, peaceful, and also felt very safe. The home itself, was very clean, and came exactly as described in the photos and the description. I would stay here again without hesitation! I would recommend this home to anyone!

The cutest old house ever. So sweet and had all the character you’d want in a house. I have nothing bad to say about the property and I would definitely recommend.
