House vacation rentals in Lake Waco

We got this for a little weekend away. We had a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing, making s’mores over the fire pit, and just spending time together. It was a beautiful house on beautiful property. It was absolutely worth it.

Great place for my extended family to stay. Pool hot tub was great place to relax after the busy day. This place was perfect and the pictures were right on.

We truly enjoyed our spring break at this oasis in Waco! We got to do our sightseeing and then got to come back to a clean and comfortable house! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was lots of everything in the house, so if you needed it, I am sure you could find it there! Awesome place!!

The house is so beautiful and a perfect getaway from the city life. The house is very authentic and has so much of history and culture in it. Absolutely loved the place and the backyard too! Would definitely visit again.

We traveled to Waco for an academic trip with a group of college students. We had plenty of space to spread out, everyone had their own beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed grilling out and loved the beautiful outdoors. The night sky was gorgeous, and even though we were 20 minutes from Baylor, it was an easy drive and well worth the space and quiet serene country air. Thanks for a great stay!

Andrew is proactive. There was an issue that he handled immediately! The place is beautiful close to the things that were of interest to us. It’s a up and growing area. Great old home being revived. Of which this is one of them. Go to Terry Black’s bbq close by yum!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. Beautiful home in a peaceful, private setting. We enjoyed our stay and our experience with the Host was excellent! Would recommend 10 out of 10!

Loved that we were off the beaten path but still close enough to get to places in Waco within 15-20 minutes. Peaceful, quiet location where I was able to walk with the dog and not worry about traffic. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided.

This home was perfect for our girls weekend in Waco! I loved the location being so walkable to downtown and the Silos. The home was spacious for 2 and a pup (I think it'd be nice for 4 people also). I appreciated how responsive Alicia was!

We came for a quick weekend trip, attended a concert at the Backyard (great venue) hit all the boutiques and farmer’s market on Saturday that was just a few blocks from the house. Plenty of room for 4 of us with everything we could possibly need. Loved the house, linens, and the decor. Highly recommend.

This has truly become our family’s home away from home! Always peaceful, quiet, and quaint, just as described! Looking forward to the next visit! 😊

great little place to stay that is well worth the noney

Great location for a weekend event I was attending. Easy to get to Waco and the surrounding area.

Love it. Beautifully restored 19th century home (marvelous design layout). It was like going back in time to the 1890's, but with modern ammenities. Awesome Czech bakeries nearby and the small restaraurants in town, and next door, were very welcoming and had great service. Very convenient to Waco, just the right distance away. It was a wonderful weekend of family reunion and activies, plus we didn't miss any basketball games with the big TV in the sitting room! We are already planning our get together there again next year.

After a cancellation on another House. Xavier house was super easy to book super cute house with a huge backyard with a great place to do s’mores! Definitely will book again if I go back to Waco. The house is pretty much close to everything you need! Dr Pepper museum, The Silos and not to far from and amazing church Harris creek if you are in the area check it out! JESUS LOVES YOU! 🫶🏼

Our stay was perfect! The details of the home are lovely, and they considered every aspect of what could possibly be needed or wanted during our stay. Our pups were welcomed, too, and the yard was terrific for them to run, play, and burn some energy. Thank you, Hodson family, for being magnificent hosts.

This was my second stay at Dan's house in Clifton and both stays were wonderful. The house is so comfy and has everything you need. The property is very big and has nice cut walking paths through the woods. We heard some turkeys but never saw them. We saw deer every morning right up by the back porch. We also found 3 fossils.

This was the 2nd time I’ve stayed at a place hosted by Marilyn and I cannot say enough how awesome she is! And her places are beautiful and very well kept! The Kureig coffee included complimentary was a nice touch. Conveniently located and perfect for what I needed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was cute little place to stay! Perfect for our daughter and her family. They worked with checkin time. We got into town and had a wedding rehearsal and dinner so we checked in late. But Joe & Janie were very responsive and would check in and see how we are doing, if all was okay! They were so great!!! Definitely would recommend this place! And would definitely stay again!

Such a peaceful special place on the edge of beautiful Lake Whitney. Our family of 6 stayed here for a long weekend meeting some other family who was staying nearby. Perfect place to get together and enjoy breakfast before a day on the lake and then in the evening to unwind/relax. Coffee on the outdoor sitting area near the fire pit was serene and relaxing listened to the birds sing their morning songs as well as the lake glistening in the distance. The neighbors dog hung out with us and what a friendly well fed old gentleman he was. Our kids loved him and couldn’t wait to see him every morning and evening. Can’t wait to return again and make more memories enjoying such a peaceful relaxing lake side home. Thank you.

The open and spacious layout felt airy and inviting, perfectly complemented by the unique and carefully curated art pieces throughout the home. Every detail in the décor added character, making it feel like more than just a rental. The massive windows framed breathtaking views of the lake. The kitchen was impressively well-appointed, making meal prep a breeze, and the beds were so comfortable that we felt right at home. We also really appreciated the early check-in time, which gave us extra hours to settle in and enjoy the space. It was the perfect setting for our 1960s art mystery party! The stylish decor and retro vibes made it feel like we had stepped right into the era. Our guests were just as enchanted by the space as we were! This home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to create memories. If you love mid-century style and a thoughtfully designed space, this is the perfect getaway.

I had 6 sisters fly in and it fit out needs perfectly. The cabana was cute, however getting the heat regulated (not well insulated) was problematic. It warmed up when the temp outside got over 70. Pretty pricey for Waco and an off weekend plus fees for everything but that's the nature of this site, I guess. Had a plumbing event during our stay. Took over an hour to get someone out but he was pleasant and efficient. Emailed the hosts after checkout with items they may want to address and have not received a reply. Overall great place to stay and would stay again.
