Great Host!! The home and our stay was PERFECT!! Would definitely 100% recommend this home to our family and friends!

The house was even more beautiful and cozy than the pics listed. It was very clean and had all of the things we needed. It’s the perfect place to stay with an amazing view of the water. Our host/the owner were very accommodating and we felt right at home. We will definitely book again!!!

Fox Cove was a wonderful place for me and my wife to spend time at for our wedding anniversary. The place was very cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time at the boathouse, lounging, fishing, and floating. Although we brought our own, the drinks and food that was available in the fridge and pantry were a nice touch of hospitality. The property was also very nice for our dog, as she loved exploring and due to the secluded and roomy setting of the property, we felt comfortable allowing her to roam a bit.we also enjoyed all the wildlife, fox, raccoons, and birds. We really did not need anything while there, but Suzanne was great to communicate with. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy peace and God’s creation, this is a wonderful place to do it at!

Overall we had a good stay, Check in and out instructions were clear, beautiful property on the lake, however the dock advertised in the listing is nothing like it is in pictures…. It is unusable because of the amount of spiders that call it home I’m sure it maybe hard to stay on top of keeping them out of the dock but necessary for full use of the property as advertised.

Ruby is an amazing host and our stay at her property was outstanding. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the patio. It's so peaceful and relaxing! The hot tub is great and the projector works great. Ruby is very responsive to messages and made sure we were happy with our stay. We'll definitely be back!!!

Fantastic stay at Sunset Shores with my family! We grew up on Lake Athens and knew the area well. This is such a beautiful lot and the home (and dock!!) have been spectacularly renovated. Plus, the hosts clearly use the space because it has everything you could possibly need. I always favor lived in AirBnBs for exactly that reason. We will be back. Thank you, Shane!

Candace was VERY responsive! We had severe storms while we were there and she made sure to keep us updated when the electricity went out as she knew anything on when it would be back on. The house itself was a lot nicer than the pictures could do justice for! There were A LOT of deer at night and birds in the morning. We loved enjoying coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our home unfortunately flooded and I was completely distraught since my husband was out of town. I reached out to this place on the lake to see if we could stay that same night since our home was being torn apart. Danelle responded right away and we were able to check in within a couple hours of booking. What a relief! We booked 4 nights since that was what was available. Then, when their weekend booking canceled, she reached out to me immediately and offered for us to stay through the weekend. We very much needed that since our home was still being worked on. The home had everything we could possibly need including things we didn’t need but it was nice to have (sonic ice? Heck yes!). The lake was exactly what we needed after all we had been through. The kids loved the kayaks and jumping off the docks! The roof deck was perfect for laying out in the sun. We had all the beach towels we needed and the couch was super comfy. We couldn’t be more grateful for Buffalo Inn. 10/1

I really can’t say enough about this property! Although our stay was very short, we had everything we needed and more! Beautiful home for a quick getaway, but even more gorgeous if you were planning a wedding or an event! Even though Angela was preparing for a wedding, she was more than accommodating and answered questions in the most timely fashion. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home/ranch with us! We will most definitely be back when we travel that way again!

This is the second time we rent this house. This is the perfect summer getaway for a weekend with friends and family! We appreciated the numerous amenities, including the large firepit, the ponds and the boats available for use. Thank you to the host for having us.

The home was perfect for my young family of four, + two grandparents and exactly as described, a beautiful location. It was seemingly all brand new inside and spotless, which was extremely appreciated after previous vacation rentals. The excessive June rain caused the dock/yard to be underwater -absolutely not the hosts fault- The younger family members walked through/stood in the water to fish and swim from it anyways. For future June rainfall guests: The lake is separated by a bridge, the home is located off of this bridge. The home is on the small section and the rest of the lake is under the bridge. The water level meant we couldn't boat under the bridge to return the older folks directly to the house during the heat of the day. If your bringing old folks who need to be inside during midday, I'd advise guests to check expected rainfall for June in the year they rent. If you've got a young family June is no problem.

Lakehouse on Lake O the Pines has a lot of great recreation options. We loved swimming in the lake, playing on the sandy beaches, kayaking, and just lounging around the house. We had a great stay.

What a wonderful weekend at the lake. Celebrating friendship and fellowship. Wonderful host and very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit. I will rate this experience a 10.... Great memories!

The home was great, absolutely stellar host and I would encourage anyone to stay here! But this trip was just about fishing so I have a few comments that might help others if bank fishing is your primary goal. If you're looking to catch smaller fish for eating, then this location is ideal. The pier that extends out to the water is both a huge positive and a potential negative. It allows you to cast out further if you want to, but unfortunately since it's right in the middle of your fishing area, fish can easily swim into the legs of the pier and get wrapped around the pier legs with the line potentially getting snagged or broke. I lost an incredibly large fish due to the long pier, but it was still an incredible experience to have such a large fish on the line. There is no doubt, if the pier was not there this would be a premier location to bank fish Lake Tawakoni. When I come back, I may bring a boat. :)

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. The view was amazing! A blue heron came to see us every morning. The inside of the house was perfectly supplied. We especially appreciated the pack n play, toddler bed, and high chair. We look forward to coming back.

The house is amazing but the back patio is the real show stopper! We were able to cook all weekend and really appreciated how stocked the kitchen was with utensils and other items to make it easy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Great vacation! The pool is much larger than appears in the photos - our family of 4 enjoyed it very much several times. Right on the lake with lots to do - canoes provided. We had a lovely time and will definitely remember this location for future Gun Barrel City vacations. Highly recommended.

We loved this place. Great location, beautiful view from sun up to sun down. Had everything we needed. A/C works great downstairs, upstairs we needed a fan, but there was one available so we were all set. We would definitely stay here again.
