Monthly Rentals in Lake Titicaca

We loved our stay on Eder’s floating island - the surroundings are so beautiful and it is very peaceful and quiet, allowing you to switch off and feel closer to nature. Eder was such a helpful and accommodating host, and we very much enjoyed the meals prepared by Eder’s mama - they were simple but healthy and delicious, we particularly enjoyed the trout from the lake. He also took us fishing and gave us a tour of his wonderful community which was a very special experience. The bed was the most comfortable bed of our whole trip which made for some very nice respite after a long time travelling! Thank you so much Eder from Georgia and Jay :)

Very unique and peaceful location. In order to get there though you definitely need a 4×4. The place is very large and perfect for a group of friends, but also just for a couple. You will need to bring enough provisions for your stay, since there are no shops or restaurants in the area (including basic supplies such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc.)

Incredibly beautiful place within the lake of Titicaca. The host Joel is doing an amazing job in making the guests feel at home and welcome. I would absolutely recommend staying there to experience life on the lake and staying close to the Uros community.

The stay at Martins house was incredible. The view from the bed is spectacular and it is such a beautiful, calm place on the Island. He and his wife are so welcoming and the food there is delicious! Highly recommended!!
