Good comfortable stay for a night

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. We loved all of the details and the interesting art, books and furniture. It felt really homely and there were lots of helpful and thoughtful touches. The beds were all really comfortable with lovely fresh linen. Jan was an incredible host who really made sure that our stay was enjoyable. She was accommodating with a few last minute changes and always responded to messages promptly. We will definitely be booking a stay at Jans the next time we are in Otematata.

The views are even better in person—pictures don’t do it justice! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. From peaceful mornings with a hot drink by the window to stargazing at night, every moment felt magical. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with world-class views. I had a wonderful stay at Zelda's house in Twizel. The home is very cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings provided a perfect escape from the busy pace of city life, helping me find a great sense of balance and relaxation. I truly enjoyed every moment here and would love to stay again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

This was a lovely stay with sheep in the paddock behind the house. This gave us who come from busy Singapore, a very different feel to our holiday! Thank you Alex and Teresa for hosting us.

Perfect appreciation for the stars, a nice place in the galaxy, the room is warm, living in the house, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are full of the stars.The sun comes in during the day is warm and easy, there is a large prairie in front of the door, and there are hares, sheep, ducks🍄‍🟫, mushrooms, a beautiful and happy stay.

Nice spot close to town but quiet and secluded. If you are going to stay there the google maps will take you up the wrong driveway, it will be right after the speed bump heading north. She had it marked well, google is just off a few driveways.

Beautiful location and lovely view. Loved the way this place has been designed, it’s very thoughtful and feels very homely. Only drawback is the construction of another place just next to it but otherwise a very memorable stay.

Good location (short distance away from the f&b and right quietness). Hosts were responsive and the house have sufficient amenities for our family of 8. Bonus for having ensuite for each room

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

Sparkling clean. Nice views and central location. They were very accommodating and organized an early check in for us.

This b&b was absolutely beautiful and pristine when we arrived and felt just like being at home. We had dinner at Jade Palace, 2 minute drive away and had the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. When arriving back, we set up the fireplace and sat on the couch in front of the amazing views. We will definitely be staying again.

The place is amazing with a starview balcony. The rooms are clean and cozy and the host is extremely helpful and even left us a bottle of wine with a welcome note. Felt totally at home and welcomed. Recommended!

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

Very good accomodation for large member of families who travelling together. We travel as 3 families with total 12 pax. Actually it has more capacity than that. Overall our staycation was very good and their amenites are very well maintained as well.
