Absolutely loved our stay! The property itself was beautifully designed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay such as food, coffee, board games, telescopes to stargaze, e-bikes, fishing rods, etc! Gary definitely went above and beyond to think about the guests’ stay. He was also very helpful and responsive. My partner and I had such an amazing time stargazing and it was an unforgettable stay. Our only regret is not booking more nights!

Great place to relax while being close to Mt Cook to enjoy all the hikes. The place has everything from slippers to use to a bunch of blankets to snuggle under. It felt like a step up in luxury from a normal place.

Honestly the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Toni and David are such wonderful humans and made us feel right at home. The level of detail and thought they put into our experience was incredible. The Grove is such a beautiful and peaceful location and the Hut is beautifully put together and so cozy with the fireplace going. The outdoor baths are definitely a highlight, we had the most magical time star gazing and drinking wine. 100% will recommend to anyone who will stop and listen to me!

Wow what a stunning spot! So serene, beautiful surroundings and the property is everything you could dream of. Great products, well set up in terms of cooking, fire place etc. The outdoor bath was a highlight!

Lovely place! Nice and private area overlooking the farm area of West Pareora. BBQ and outdoor area was divine at sunset. 10/10 recommend!

Great getaway for the weekend, close to township. Relaxing, highly recommend, we had our 20mth puppy who was fascinated with the chickens and sheep.

Wonderful stop at the edge of the woods on our drive through the farmland of Canterbury region. Our stay was short but had everything we needed. It was a rainy afternoon when we checked in and the hosts had started a fire for us so it was ready upon our arrival. We cooked our own dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (grabbing groceries in Methven before arriving), and enjoyed reading the books that were stocked in the cabin about quintessential life in NZ. Rams and horses grazed in the field just beyond and there is a bath tub for unwinding after a long day on the road. Bed was super comfortable. We really felt like we were staying at a friends place. It was a real slice of local life.

Peak View Cabin is a special place. Very well appointed, it is set amongst a majestic backdrop and offers the opportunity to relax & unwind in luxury: Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful log cabin! It was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. The setting was so tranquil, with fantail birds fluttering around the trees, adding to the magic of the place. Stargazing at night was breathtaking with clear skies and no light pollution. If you’re looking for a serene escape to relax and recharge, this is it. Highly recommend!

This place was ideal for my writing retreat. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Having a writing desk and a proper computer chair was a real bonus and meant I could get on with my work and not end up with back ache. Lovely barn eggs and milk left for me too. I already am thinking about when I can come again! Thank you so much for everything!

Ruataniwha Hut is such a beautiful spot! Coming from a country area in aus ourselves, we have a special appreciation for the beauty and the peacefulness of this place 😊 The hut was so cosy, had everything we needed and made for a perfect stay whilst travelling around the area. Felt like we stepped into a scene from Yellowstone - endless landscape, fire crackling, and not a soul in sight. Proper off-grid vibes, but comfy and cozy. The kind of place where time slows down and stars show off. Unreal stay—didn’t want to leave! Kenny nailed the instructions, was super helpful and responsive, thank you so much!
