Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Sunapee

Absolutely beautiful location, the lake is about 20ft from the back deck. Quiet, peaceful and sleeping with the slider open allows you to hear the loons; if you've never fallen asleep to the sounds of loons, this is reason enough to book a stay.

Beautiful and spacious home. Everything was clean and at any point I would message Denise she would respond right away. The area was beautiful as well. I would definitely book her home again.

The place was beautiful. A little further from Dartmouth College than I would have liked, but the house fit everyone nicely and made for a great graduation weekend.

We had another wonderful stay at Melanie & Glenn's lakeside cottage! The place is stocked with everything you need and provides amazing indoor and outdoor spaces for all of your fun filled activities. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Very quiet, beautiful light at dawn and dusk with open views. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is really easy to cook in. We felt right at home!

Had enjoyed our time at Lilly's - comfortable, quiet, convenient location to town. Missing that view of the water already.

Karen is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is all on one level and if one is senior the one floor living in helpful. The place was very well kept and very clean and had everthing one would need for a nice getaway. There is a restuarant in walking distance and one could walk along the lake road right outside the door. In the winter the house is 8 to 10 miles each way to snow skiing mountains and another 8 miles away to food shopping. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We needed a place for my daughters graduation at New England College. This place was 10 minutes away and beautiful. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, sitting on the screened porch, playing board/card games provied, and smores. The bug spay, repelent candles were much appreciated, and fishing poles a bonus. My 4 yr old neice caught her first fish and had her very first ride in a kayak. We made memories of a lifetime. Highly recomend, very relaxing/beautiful and family/adult oriented.

A wonderful stay in a BEAUTIFUL spot. The house was pristine, and well laid out. Rob made check in seamless, and offered some insight on local restaurants that were great!

Rachel was so accommodating and helpful. I mistakenly booked the wrong dates and she quickly helped me change them, no questions asked. The cabin is in a great spot. Unfortunately it rained 24/7 while we were there so we didn’t really get to enjoy the lake like we wanted to. But we did enjoy the fireplace on the chilly mornings! Thanks Rachel!

Siding was very communicative throughout the entire process. My family enjoyed the cottage to ring in the New Year together. We had such a peaceful time. The house was just as described. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve hike with great views

5 stars is not enough for how wonderful our stay was! The area was so quiet and peaceful right on the water and everything inside was clean and tidy. You could tell everything was clean, especially the linens which smelled like fresh laundry. We got rained out one of the days but still enjoyed our time thoroughly. Would definitely stay here again!!

We came up to Joan's lovely cottage for a peaceful, hiking Christmas vaca and it was absolutely perfect. Joan was a wonderful host, very friendly and generous. We wish Joan was our granny too! Granny camp was comfy, cozy, on a beautiful lake, with lots to do in surroundings areas. Would love to come back in the summer! Thank you!

My husband, daughter and I had a lovely winter weekend at Sunset Lodge. The cabin’s proximity to Mount Sunapee was perfect for a day of skiing. Relaxing in the cozy cabin and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake was also time well spent. The homeowners clearly put a lot of thought into the decoration and care of Sunset Lodge which we appreciated. Suzanne is a great host, reaching out with details for a smooth arrival and check in experience. We can only imagine how wonderful it would be to stay here in the fall or summer and would love to return.

We got hit with rain pretty hard during our stay which made the lake super icy however the warm day we had the lake was great! I suggest timing your trip with pollen in mind as the location on the lake brings the pollen in. Other than the pollen and rain no issues. We drove up to Flume gorge/Cannon mountain tramway and had a blast. Walked around Littleton and went into a few little shops. The ice cream place right down the road was tasty too! Quiet and relaxing area for sure

Really incredible cabin! It’s cute - homey and private! Such cute touches! Sadly it rained and we didn’t get to enjoy the water , but it still had a cute indoor space overlooking the water, great tunes and played games they had! It was a great get away! Don’t cancel because of rain.. it was delightful! Great local eatery too !! Highly recommend Stark Tavern.. Very friendly area! Will be back we enjoyed our time! Thank you for hosting!

There aren’t enough good things to say about Audrey’s beautiful home. I have to say this was one of the best airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The home was gorgeous. Most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced from an Airbnb. There was everything you could possibly want or need while vacationing away from home. The general store has basic essentials and AMAZING breakfast sandwiches a short 10 minute drive away. The beach was quaint and a short easy 5 minute walk from the property. Beautiful outdoor porch and overall an amazing experience. We hope to be back because we had an amazing time

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return! The cabin is lovely. My daughter enjoyed kayaking around the lake. We also enjoyed the science center, Walter’s basin, and birdwatching. Thank you!

Jason was a fantastic host and his cabin was wonderful. He left the dock in later in the season for us since the weather had been unusually warm recently. The cabin had a great kitchen and there was more than enough room for the two of us. Parking was easy, right out front. There was a ton to do with fun thrift stores in the nearby towns and hiking just 10 minutes away at Mt Sunapee. There were kayaks, canoes, and a paddle board though the water was a bit cold to be boating. I would definitely stay at Jason's cabin again!

What a fabulous home and location! Brian was so responsive and helpful, and everything was as advertised/expected. Immaculate, well-appointed, and beyond cozy. Would book again for sure!

This house was great for us. As someone who grew up in the area and coming back to visit family, this house was perfect for my young family and I was able to bring my dad to for dinners and time with his grandkids. The kids loved the games and puzzles (even though my 9year old was quick to point out, in the guest book might I add, that the 500 piece puzzle is missing 9 pieces lol 🫣). It rained *almost* the entire 36 hours we were at the house, but we still took advantage of the fire pit, sparklers the hosts left for us and the Kayaks! Super nice touches. We had a great, relaxing time at the house and enjoyed some family time. I would rent again!

The cabin was cozy and had great views!….clean comfortable and everything needed is in place. Hosts were extremely helpful and answered to any question asap!

This was a great place to stay! I was looking for a relaxing weekend and this place was perfect. The yard and back porch was great to enjoy the lake and it's very private. The inside is all updated while the outside maintains a rugged outdoor cabin in the woods setting. Great coffee station too!
