Lake side house rentals in Lake Santeetlah

This was such a sweet stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful location - my husband enjoyed fly fishing during the day on the water and I was only 20 minutes from kayaking at the NOC. The house was very clean - tidy bathroom and kitchen with all your basics stocked to get you started. Hot tub was lovely and very clean! There is a steeper drop off next to the outside firepit so I would be mindful with little children. Easy check in and they were very flexible and responsive when we had some crazy weather pop up nearby. We will be back again and hopefully stay a little longer!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. We loved the stay. The cabin and lake were beautiful and peaceful. The host company was very responsive and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

Roger is an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to assist us when there was an issue with our online booking. Cabin was very clean and had great views. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

Cabin 6 absolutely amazed us! The home was stunning, with an open layout and breathtaking lake views from every window—it felt like pure tranquility. Jennifer warmly greeted us, helped with parking, and even assisted in securing a last-minute boat rental. A tip: let Greg and Jennifer know in advance if you want to rent a pontoon to ensure availability. Greg suggested Marina Station and Hiawassee Brew, and we happily indulged in both. We also ventured to Bell Mountain, and the views of Hiawassee were beyond words—simply awe-inspiring and even tear-jerking. Staying at Tranquille is highly recommended for its serene beauty and thoughtful amenities, ensuring a truly relaxing getaway. It’s a perfect spot to recharge and take in nature’s magic!

Beautiful & peaceful location. The house was lovely, kitchen well stocked with kitchen items, gadgets. Big beautiful windows to see out to the lake; and both bedrooms w/ lake views. Beautiful house! Lovely porch & dock, where we spent all our time.

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving, and it was pretty cold, but well worth it. Being on the lake, makes me want to come back, with the boat, in the summer, to fully enjoy it. Great place, and will hopefully be back.

Alisha and Todd's home is amazing! It's located in our home town making the perfect place to visit family for Christmas. Their home provided everything we needed to cook, to play games with the grands, an awesome lake view, and more. Thank you Alisha!

A big Thank You to Courtney and Brandon for a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and had plenty of space. So much to do right there without even leaving. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.. The view from every deck was spectacular and everything we needed on this vacation.

Our stay here with Natural Retreats was amazing! We booked super last minute and they made sure to give us all the information we needed ASAP. We have stayed in Tennessee plenty of times but I have never had a host text me prior to arrival letting me know our space was available. We walked in to soft jazz playing right over the fireplace. They checked in on us the next morning to make sure everything was okay. The staff was very friendly and communication was a 10/10! I will definitely book through them the next time we come visit. This space was great for my husband and I. We really enjoyed having our own bathrooms to get ready! We were also only about 8 minutes from the strip which is amazing! Thank you for hosting us!

Yourcation awaits was wonderful. This trip will likely be the final trip that my father was able to make with us due to being diagnosed with Stage 5 lung cancer. He was able to make a lasting memory with me and his grandkids.

This was the perfect getaway!! Had a little difficulty finding it, just a little sightseeing tour around the mountain 😃 but all was good once we arrived. Had a wonderful stay. A beautiful cabin with great views, very clean with amenities and is decorated perfectly. We felt right at home. Location was close to everything we were looking for. And the hot tub was spot on perfect for a relaxing evening. We will be back to visit for sure. Thank You so much.

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate for us, it didn't diminish our stay one bit. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves from the time we got to the cabin until the time we left. The accommodations were great and the views from the mountain top were absolutely stunning. Will definitely be staying here again!

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

This is the perfect spot if you want peace and seclusion. It is about a 20 minute drive to sights and amenities (groceries). Very clean, lots of games if you get bored, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We were just a couple vacationing but it would have been a great house had we any children or friends in tow. Gorgeous view
