Lake Rabun fishing places to stay

Harry's place was beautiful and so peaceful. The view of the lake was stunning from the porch and through the large windows and doors when we were inside the house. The house was spotless and so comfortable. While we were there for only a short trip and didn't get to enjoy the property for long, it was such a perfect home base for our crew. Harry was so wonderful in his responses and in his proactive communication. We also had a special request, and he was so kind to work with us. If we have the opportunity to return and need a place to stay again, we absolutely will try to book this place again!

My wife and I felt at home and very peaceful. We fell in love with this place and the hosts were incredible. Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Can’t wait to go back!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

Absolutely beautiful place. Very quiet. Great fishing. The kitchen is very small but was perfect for our needs. We loved having the private dock and beach area. Definitely saved for a future vacation.

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. This home was everything we were looking for!!! Right on the lake for fishing and kayaking! Fire pit, check, and everything you could need in the honeymoon! We didn’t get great weather but our boys were never bored with the outdoor fun! Ellen even went out of her way to bring us life-vests for the boys. Great home, fabulous location, and perfect host!

The house was comfortable and quiet. The view of the lake was well worth the money particularly at dusk when the sun would sparkle across the rippling water. The kitchen was well-appointed but could have used some coffee filters or coffee supplies; however, the host had left bottled water in the fridge. The bathroom lavatory faucets needed attention. Overall, the home was as presented, the neighborhood was quiet, the location was convenient to town, and we had a great stay.

This is the third time I have stayed in this home. It is beautiful, very clean and well-maintained. The host, Michel, is a pleasure to work with. He is very accommodating, kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful home with a gorgeous view! Thank you, Michel, for allowing us to stay in your amazing home!

Awesome place and great host. The entire process from booking to check-in to leaving was frictionless and easy. The house is an excellent, super quiet location. Great for a weekend stay, and ample space for people to hang in different areas without being on top of each other.

The Bobber Bungalow is such a cute stay with beautiful views. Loved the back sunroom and the access to the cove. Neighbors were all very quiet. Lindsay communicated well with us before and during our stay and house was very clean when we arrived. Only wish was that there was a door or curtain between master bedroom and master bath. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Thank you!

We will have to come back and visit this wonderful house and boat house in the summertime. I can only imagine how wonderful it is when you can enjoy sitting on the dock and soaking in this beautiful lake. We visited on probably the coldest weekend of the year, so we did not get to take full advantage of all the amenities. Everything was really nice and we had a very relaxing long weekend.

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. Our family had a great time at this adorable cabin, we had three families who came from all different areas and this was the perfect spot for our families to spend quality time together! The husbands really enjoyed the fire pit and hanging out on the deck. The moms loved how spacious it was so the kids could run around and play together. The neighborhood is also very private so you don’t have to worry about cars passing through. Outside was beautiful, the scenery is so peaceful. There was plenty of privacy for each family on all 3 floors, we never felt on top of each other or crowded. The town Helen is about 16 minutes away and has a very unique look and feel to it. There were so many neat shops that sold souvenirs, candies, and fun experiences. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

A great retreat to decompress and enjoy nature. It’s like treehouse living! We had a great time there!

We had a great time at Hikers Retreat! The cabin was lovely and we enjoyed the pool table. It was convenient to lots of things to do in Helen and Blairsville. It was a quiet relaxing place to stay with great views.

My husband and I had a beautiful stay here. Loved everything about it, especially the view. Our stay felt amazing. Communication with our host was top 10. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

This is the perfect spot if you want peace and seclusion. It is about a 20 minute drive to sights and amenities (groceries). Very clean, lots of games if you get bored, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We were just a couple vacationing but it would have been a great house had we any children or friends in tow. My family and I had a great time. The cabin was clean and had basic essentials provided. The hot tub was fun for the kids and adults. Great location with beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again.
