Wonderful spot with great charm and room to roam.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wendy’s place! It could not have been more perfect for us. As soon as we walked in, we felt right at home. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, light, and airy. The pool was a wonderful bonus, as was the view out over the lake. We loved the bank of windows at the back of the house that brought the outside in. In fact, we have already recommended Wendy’s place to our family for when they come to visit Avon Park.

Second time we have booked Cathy’s place; in town for lacrosse tournament. It was as good as the first time, and we love that the kids can walk across the street and hang out by the water. It’s also nice being so close to the boat rental down the street. Cathy’s place is stocked with everything you would need for your stay, including k-cups and beach towels.

This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time. One of the people in our party this time was mobility challenged and was able to maneuver over the house and porches with ease. We had 7 people and had plenty of room for everyone. Already talking about coming back next year. The hosts are always responsive when we have questions. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place!

This is our go to when we visit the area! The owners are always responsive and the stay is perfect. Love this little spot in Avon Park!

We had a great time at Janet’s place! The place was super clean and had everything we needed. We kayaked and fished off the dock and my two dachshunds had a blast!!

There were a few issues outside of the hosts control, and he quickly replied and remedied to a fair resolution. He was a great host, would stay at his property again.

Our group of 9 enjoyed a comfortable stay! The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard and fishing in the lake. Highly Recommended!!!

My family and I had a great, relaxing time. The kids loved the lake, we brought some floaties and they spent their time either kayaking or floating beside the dock. We ate all of our meals in the backyard porch which has a beautiful view to the lake.

The home was very peaceful for a lakehouse getaway. It had everything needed, was uniquely decorated, and nicely furnished. Communication with the host and simple check-in/out was appreciated. Would recommend if staying in Lake Placid as it is close to town and the other larger lakes in the area.

The listing was accurate with both the pictures and the description. The pool was in great shape and we enjoyed it very much. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. I would stay here again.

Very nice little place on the water. I was in town for a race and found everything to be just as described. Nice selection of cookware and there were some toiletries in the bathroom, which was much appreciated. Definitely will be looking this place up again when I come to town next time.

My family had a wonderful stay at Kelly's house in Lake Placid. The house was very clean and private. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets at night on your dock. Kelly was a great host, very responsive and a great communicator. We would definitely recommend that you stay here.

Beautiful home on lakefront with amazing views. We loved that the nearby boat ramp was accessible to launch our boat. Kids loved the game/movie room. Host was very informative and responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect and close to Sebring circuit. Very large and ideal common areas for a large family or a group of friends. Quiet residential area and José was for whatever we needed.

Another great stay at Anthony’s- house is well kept, kitchen, bedrooms, pool, garage all good!! Anthony is aware of the dock- needs serious maintenance, but still usable. Recommendation - put in some cleats to tie up the boat! Definitely a great place to stay if you enjoy magnificent views.

This home was exquisite! Super peaceful and comfortable! We loooooved the sunroom with the foosball table and air hockey table!! It was a perfect spot for us to hangout and relax after spending a long day out and about! The view from the dock/boatslip was simply gorgeous! We went out at sunset and it was so beautiful we didn’t want to ever leave! The home was absolutely perfect and Faith & Jeanette left us the sweetest card and gifts to welcome us and were super helpful as well! 10/10 beautiful place and hosts and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect in every way! This was our second stay—and we’ve already booked our third because we just can’t get enough. The home is spotless, with exceptionally thorough cleaning and a clear sense of care and pride in every detail. Everything is beautifully maintained, from the fresh new carpet to the incredibly comfortable King bed in the master. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it feel just like home. We also loved the thoughtful extras—bikes, kayaks, a peaceful netted seating area, and a private pier that made fishing on the lake a daily treat. The entire place has a warm, homey feel that makes it easy to relax the moment you arrive. The host is amazing, friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making your stay perfect. Kelly is a phenomenal host! She ensured we were all good throughout our stay. She welcomed us with a greeting in the kitchen and an Easter basket filled with so many goodies. As soon as you walk into the living room, you see a beautiful view of the lake. The house was clean and had so many amenities. Kayaks, paddle boards, a huge digital game table with a wide variety of games across generations, and a garage with life jackets and other lake activities are all available for you. We made wonderful family memories!

Had a little issue with a water line breaking. David answered me at midnight and had the issue resolved the next morning. Nice place in a great location. Will definitely be going back.
