Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Norman

This trip was for husband & 2 fishing buddies. Location was good, dead end street with easy access to a nearby launch. The house is nice, modern and has necessary amenities. Kevin even allowed use of garage space which helped a lot to keep the pollen off my boat overnight! A blower was also provided which helped since pollen is high in the area right now. Nice paved driveway, although we had a challenge getting 3 boat trailers to fit. It will only accommodate 2. A nearby neighbor passing by tried to be helpful with our parking dilemma when they noticed us struggling to fit all, although a man across the street came over and was confrontational & opinionated about the circumstance. Not sure why he felt the need to involve himself but it all worked out & we would stay in this place again.

We’ve stayed here many times and continue to love it. Recent upgrades have only made the home even better. Would recommend 100%

Nice lake house. Comfortable spaces. The living room was spacious but only 1 table lamp to light the space after dark. This house is not one to pick for anyone with mobility issues as all bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

this was our second time staying here & it’s the most beautiful & relaxing home! we felt right at home immediately & it’s always clean & welcoming! can’t recommend this beautiful lake house enough!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s place! He was a phenomenal host—extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our visit. The house was just what we needed for a relaxing and peaceful getaway with my family. It was well-equipped, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. We especially loved being able to bring our boat and spend some time out on the lake—it truly made the trip special. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

David’s place was great!!! Private, peaceful, it was clean with lots of space.. this is one of our favorite places to stay at Lake Norman.

A wonderful stay at Lake Norman. This house was a perfect location for an extended family getaway. It was exactly as described with beautiful views and the kayaks and paddle boards were a great perk. There were a couple maintenance issues while we were there but they were quickly addressed. That driveway is no joke, just as described!

Armenia's place was a perfect, peaceful setting for a weekend away with friends. The home was spotless, had excellent amenities, and enabled a weekend of fun and relaxation. Armenia was responsive and proactive. Would absolutely return!

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

Great home to spend quality time with family or close friends. Kids enjoy the outdoor space and kayaks. Adults had a great time by the fire. Everyone had their own space if needed. Will be coming back soon!!

The house was absolutely amazing. The dock was so nice to sit on after a long day of work. We had a resident blue herring that would greet us every morning and every evening. It was private and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans, and bakeware. It was so easy to prepare a meal. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs to get away and feel at home.

Staying at Ms. Donna’s Airbnb was an absolute delight from start to finish! I recently hosted a small family Christmas gathering, and the experience could not have been more perfect. The home was impeccably clean, cozy, and welcoming—exactly what we needed for a festive holiday celebration. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and everything was easy to find and access. Donna’s communication was outstanding! She responded to my inquiries within an hour, both before and after our stay, and her instructions were so thorough that I didn’t even need to reach out during the rental. She was also incredibly sweet and understanding about a few things we discussed, making the entire process stress-free. I had a wonderful week at Patrick and Carla’s house! I drove down from New York and it was the exact getaway that I needed. The house and the views of the lake were beautiful. The community the house is in is also beautiful and it’s a quick drive away from plenty of gas stations, restaurants, etc. Patrick and Carla were also great hosts, they were very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I couldn’t recommend their house more!

This was truly one of the best AIRBNB I have stayed because the host was so personable made sure we knew how to get in. Make sure that everything was OK when we got there. She was fabulous. And the place was beautiful with all the water. You could see it from the windows and the glass doors. There’s a nice fire pit plenty of firewood. It was just so beautiful for Christmas. My family just had the best time.

My son and I had an excellent time staying in the downstairs unit. The location was very close to a couple marinas that provided us with wakeboarding trips and jet ski rentals. There is also a neighborhood swimming area within walking distance that was great for swimming and paddle boarding. Highly recommend. Affordable price for a couple or father/son trip and great location for exploring Lake Norman via access to marinas.

We loved our stay at this Beautiful home ! So relaxing. We loved early mornings on the back porch with our coffee and watching the sun go down in the evenings. Thank you for sharing your amazing home.

Great place to stay! Renting a pontoon boat was fun and it was great that we could keep it at our own dock!

Great home, nestled in the trees with lots of birds. Overlooks a peaceful cove on Lake Norman!

The airbnb was fantastic. Everything was well thought out and perfect. The photos do not do the home justice for how nice it was inside. The kitchen had anything you could need to cook, the living was homily and the game rooms exciting. The grill and fire pit worked perfectly. The hot tub was a highlight for sure. The hosts were great and helped us whenever we needed help, but we rarely did do to their clear instructions. I would 100% book again and we had a great time!!!

100 Stars is my rating! I’ve stayed at 20+ rentals and this was THE BEST home! The home was better than pictured. Cleanest place ever. Beds & pillows comfy. Linens/Towels like new. Great water pressure for showers & showers clean like your home! Kitchen well stocked w/extras like bags, spices (that all match) etc. Attention to details like rolled towels, “poo-pouri”, hotel like canisters for shower essentials. We used both upper & lower decks. Outdoor cushions -new + built in seating. Grill: easy to use, clean & to light (needed clicker butane lighter in the kitchen) We all kept saying, this place is amazing! Location close to I-77, Costco and all kinds of things! The only thing I’d improve on is better suctioned shower rods. 2 of the 4 shower rods slipped when the curtains got super wet/walls were slick (after 5 uses immediately back to back). We were able to slide them back up when dry. Spaced out showers next day and no issues!

We spent 5 weeks in Amanda’s house. It was more than comfortable. The bed was so comfy. Our dogs totally enjoyed the fenced in backyard! I had packed a ton of cooking supplies…..thinking the house would not be sufficiently stocked for someone who loved to cook. My stuff stayed in boxes. House was stocked with everything we needed. High end utensils & pots. Extra bonus…..Amanda is a realtor. And helped us find our perfect retirement home! I absolutely recommend this property & host!!!
