Stay was great. Hike up to Crabtree falls was amazing. Definitely a great place to disconnect from the phone with no WiFi and connect to each other and nature . Beautiful property!

We booked this place last minute. The top 2 winners were the hot tub and the closeness to the river. The cabin itself was clean, they thought of all basics, and it was cozy! We will definitely be back!

I would like to preface by saying that this location was perfect. We had everything we needed right in the middle of the appalachian mountains. We loved everything about our experience. The following are just some observations and notes from an experienced travel planner. Camp Holly has a lot of work to do. It looks like in one point of time, a lot of love went into the place and the funds were allocated to do so. Keep going. A lot of money was wasted on glamping tents that are now absolutely destroyed. They are not meant to be all weather. I do not feel like the upkeep of the property can be handled with one person, you need a team of people. That is too much on one person. This place has so much potential. The location is perfect, excluded and private. Everyone was so nice. Always checked if we needed anything. Super helpful. Wifi was a struggle the first day working from the cabin but that was fixed. 10/10 I would stay as often as I could. So Peaceful. The diner was YUM!

We had a small elopement ceremony here and it was the most perfect weather and back drop! So peaceful and beautiful. The pictures on the listing show this house as a 10/10 location and home but let me tell you when we got there in person it was SO MUCH better! 12/10 beautiful cabin and location. The house is decorated so beautifully. It was just breath taking. Lauren was also kind enough to leave us a little welcome basket of goodies and a bottle of wine :) This was my first time sharing an airbnb with more than 4 people & I was impressed by the amount of extra bedding that was available to us. We were worried about the amount of TP at first too with so many people in the house but we never ran out. PRO: check out instructions did not mention cleaning up our own bedding/towels bc thats the last thing you want to worry about when you have 14 people in a house with a time crunch to check out by. Recommend screenshotting wifi/check in code before arriving due to lack of service to be safe

Peaceful, relaxing steps from Greenbrier River. Enjoyed hot tub and sound of the river rapids. Comfortable beds.

Bobby’s place is an incredible find right on the Jackson River! We were in the area for a family reunion holiday weekend and the cabin was just what we needed for a home away from home. The area is quiet, absolutely beautiful and the cabin was very clean, had a very comfortable living room, and the beds were super comfortable. Thank you Bobby!

Kristen was a fantastic host! I booked a year in advance, and she was very helpful from start to finish. The stay was perfect for our out-of-town guest! Location, cleanliness and great communication was top notch!

My family and I loved this air bnb! It was private, clean and had everything that we needed. Loved the fire pit and the hot tub, beds were comfy and towels were soft. Great communication with the owners. If you are looking for a nice get away with lots of privacy and to be able to relax this place is it! If we are ever in the area again would love to stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods.

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nice & quiet, listening nature on the porch and using the hot tub was a couple of our favorites.

this place was great, bigger and comfier than the photos looked, even had a garage for drying out our wet backpacking gear, the yard was enormous and the river was beautiful!

This is a truly special cabin. A perfect escape from everyday life. The setting is magical, with an open meadow bordered by a mountain stream. We spent our time lounging on the deck in the hot tub while snow fell around us. The night sky is so clear and I haven't seen so many stars in ages. The cabin itself is rustic, clean, and charming. Highly recommended!

My friends and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The hosts were amazing at helping us navigate the mountains. We spent our time relaxing in their cabin and skiing at snowshoe. It was a respectable distance from snowshoe. I felt very comfortable staying in their cabin because Hannah treated us like family!

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

The cabin is rustic. It's set on top of a hill in an opening in the woods on an active sheep farm. The views from the farm are stunning. It couldn't be any more private and any more beautiful. The front porch was ideal for enjoying a cup of morning tea. The bedroom comfortably fits two people. The loft is spacious and fits 1-2 people. Sarah was a very responsive, kind, and accommodating hostess. She welcomed us with some of her own farm fresh eggs, tasty homemade blueberry muffins, juice, creamer, and coffee. The cabin is located 10-12 minutes from downtown Lexington. The bathroom could be more private, but I would definitely rent the cabin again and Sarah was fantastic.

Wonderful stay! Pretty setting, park and creek .7 m away, felt like we were tucked away. We had a minor issue, not at all hosts fault, the electricity in the area went out. But Sereda was very responsive, figured out problem and when it would be solved, and let us know right away. I didn’t want to leave!

If your looking for a peaceful location with beautiful views and the feeling of home this is the place to go! Rebecca was excellent communicator and very descriptive in her instruction manual. Everything you needed to know was right there. Rebecca goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you would normally need at home. The cabin itself was clean and cozy. The record and selection are awesome and we finished two puzzles while there. Atari was a huge hit! The creek in the backyard was our favorite feature, we even saw an eastern box turtle. All in all it was fantastic and we will definitely be back again.

We loved staying at Cedars Rest! It was the most perfect property, extremely quiet. Safe location, easily accessible to local places - winery, wedding venues, etc. thank you for a great weekend getaway!!

Such a wonderful place! Peaceful, quiet, beautiful surroundings. Well appointed house with cute decor. Very comfortable and felt right at home. The eggs, muffins and OJ were greatly appreciated. This was my third stay at Jennifer's place and there will definitely be more visits in the future!

Some of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen greeted us each morning—especially where the two rivers gently converge right in front of the cabin. It’s truly nature at its finest. The yard is full of majestic trees—so massive that even with four of us linking arms, we couldn’t reach around their trunks! The rivers were calm and welcoming, with a gentle current that made swimming both easy and refreshing. If you're looking for a serene escape with unmatched natural beauty, this is the place. We’re already dreaming about coming back!
