We loved our stay in this beautiful, meticulously restored farmhouse. The interior is spacious. The beds are comfortable. Everything was in great working order. Fred and Dominique pay attention to detail! There are so many interesting features and delightful elements to this house. We enjoyed the proximity to the Glacial River Trail, and we highly recommend the Dorothy Carnes County Park for visitors who like to hike or bike. We definitely would stay again!

All in we really enjoyed our stay. Lori was a responsive host and directions were clear, which was important because it's a bit off the main road and up a winding dirt one - but we made it easily. The house was as described and per the pictures. The lot was pretty and although other homes were not too far, they were out of view, which was nice. We saw deer around the property daily, enjoyed the firepit on a chilly night. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need, the bed comfortable and the bathrooms clean. We'd go back. If you rent, make sure you check out the local bars, we made it to Northstar just up the road and Head Inn a bit more into Poynette and really enjoyed the staff and clientele - ended up playing bar dice games we'd never heard of. It's a beautiful drive to Devils Lake and Wollersheim Winery, both recommended.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

My family and I loved this lake home. Everything was just as pictured, and the home is very clean and spacious. There were 8 of us who stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone! The Barhams were wonderful hosts! They have a delightful, cozy home in the middle of a peaceful, beautiful property. We have small children and felt like this was the best, most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time. The instructions were comprehensive and easy to refer back to, and we had no difficulty finding the place. We felt right at home, and there was a delicious loaf of homemade sweet bread and a dozen farm fresh eggs in the fridge, which was above and beyond anything I've ever seen at any other air bnb. All of the amenities were just as described, and we will definitely be coming back here again! Thank you, Roberta and Kim!

Great space for all family members. Appreciated full kitchen and the electric kettle. Plenty of towels and the water was very hot. Would have liked to make use of back patio and fire pit, but weather precluded this. Jamie was very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay in Milton. Very much appreciated the seasonal goodies left for us. Thank you

Meg's place is the best! From the moment she offered to pick me up, till the end she dropped me off at the bus stop, I felt so welcomed all along the way. Brisbane House: Restored Historic Country House

Such a beautiful stay! The wow factor when you pull up is just the start! We had the most amazing time and made so many wonderful memories staying at this beautiful historic home. From seeing fireflies in n the evening to morning coffee on the beautiful screen porch, we had the most wonderful family adventure. The third floor was setup perfectly for our twin girls in one room and our son in the other! Town of spring green close by was a family favorite and we had some amazing dinners/lunches there. 100% recommend you try this stay. Make sure to have good bug spray and you are set! Thanks so much to Sam and Bruce for sharing this wonderful place with us all!

Samantha was extremely kind, friendly and approachable! I had fallen a bit sick with all the long travelling in the cold weather but she made me feel very comfortable and even offered warm chicken soup to make me feel better. She went over and above her role as a host and also gave me practical tips and advices for commuting locally.

Our family needed a place with plenty of sleeping space for our larger group. We were able to easily accomodate everyone with plenty of room for sleeping and several bathrooms. We made all of our meals in the kitchen and used the large kitchen table for both dining as well as game playing. Had it been a little warmer we would have spent time outside enjoying the quiet woods, but as it was we enjoyed watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree and some woodpeckers -- all in sight from the back windows. It was a great convenience to have access to a Tesla charger as well.

Incredible décor. Very comfortable bed and cozy space. So many neat things to look at all throughout the house. Daniel had great local recommendations, and the house is easily walkable to the cute downtown of Spring Green. Breakfast was delicious, it was hard to pick which option we wanted! Every detail of their home was clearly thought out and intentional. Our stay was fantastic and we would gladly stay again should we find ourselves in the area in the future. Could not recommend this location more!

Our last minute stay with Deborah was fantastic! She was extremely accommodating with our late check-in, and made a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. The pool and hot tub were a big bonus we unfortunately did not get to take advantage of, but maybe next time! The suite we stayed in was pristine with a wonderful jacuzzi.

A great place to stay if just looking for a place to crash! They are planning to do some renovations soon and we definitely will be back to check them out . The parking situation was difficult but we found a parking garage about a 10 minute walk away and all was well. Overall we had a great stay and will be back :)
