We had a fun and relaxing time in the Cozy Green Cottage. The cottage itself was super cute, comfortable, and well apportioned with everything we needed. It's nestled in a beautiful little wooded area that was usually very peaceful and calm. We could open the windows and listen to the birds in the evening. The private beach is also very peaceful and pretty, and it was convenient to have beach chairs and towels provided. A short drive into both St. Joe and Benton Harbor provided lots of food and activities. Anne was very welcoming and responsive throughout the trip. We would definitely stay there again for future relaxing, long lake weekends.

These past two nights at Windover have been absolutely beautiful. The view was simply breathtaking, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Our host was incredibly helpful, making everything even more pleasant. The house was spotless, and we felt right at home. It's definitely a place worth visiting, and we'd love to return someday!"

Fantastic for small family trip. Small but not too small, easy to be included whether cooking or playing in the living room. The beach at the house was also amazing as well as all of the supplied water activities canoe, kayak, life jackets for the kids, and overall beach toys.

AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved this cabin and our stay! Very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The lake was gorgeous, heard the loons and saw two swans. Also saw four deer in between the porch and water. It was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Will recommend to friends and we will be back!!!! ♥️

We loved our stay here. The place was spotless - shout out to the cleaners. It was in great walking distance to a beach, and there was hardly anyone there! The home was welcoming and updated. I enjoyed the story in the binder of how the family came to be owners of the cottage. This is a great getaway for a couple or small family.

Beautiful cabin in the woods on the lake. Paddle boats on the lake fishing with the kids. Not a far drive to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Beds were comfortable and the cabin was so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back.

The cottage was so cute and has its original charm! Directly on the water and a nice fire pit to utilize! Just a quick stroll down the path and you’re at the beach. The cottage is well equipped with things you need on the daily. We just bought some groceries and were good to go! The location is perfect! It’s very close to Leland Fish Town, downtown Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Dandan was a wonderful host! Friendly and responsive. Clear instructions. It was truly a lovely getaway and Dandan is an excellent host!

This place lived up to the hype! It was tucked in a serene wooded area with the beach a short distance away. The stay was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities needed for our five day stay, including super comfortable beach chairs. We spent many hours reading and playing chess in the three season room. It was nice the place was equidistant from Saugatuck and Holland, making exploring both towns easy. One disclaimer for anyone with mobility issues—Laketown Beach can be extremely challenging to access (particularly on the way back) since it is a large hill and a super sandy trail. Something to keep in mind when booking.

If you are ever in the Manistique are, do not hesitate to book Travis’s place! This was our first trip to the UP, and wow, what a perfect place to stay! The most relaxing house and location I have ever stayed, this property - right on Lake Michigan - was perfect!

We had an amazing time during our stay, it truly felt like a home away from home! Everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We had absolutely no complaints, only compliments. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The nearby lake was a highlight; so peaceful and fun to explore. We especially enjoyed taking morning walks around it; it’s a perfect way to start the day. We also recommend making the short 18-minute drive to Shipshewana, Indiana. It’s such a charming town with lots to see and do. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and a great location!

This was our second stay at Beach Haven and everything exceeded our expectations! Patrick has made some wonderful upgrades since our last stay in 2021, including a new deck, flooring, bathroom updates, paint, and air conditioning upstairs! Anything you might need for cooking is available, which is so convenient. The knives are nice and sharp, too! You cannot beat this location or the view. Since the temp is about 15° cooler by the lake, we were able to open the windows and relax with the cool breeze and sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. Patrick’s home truly is a gem,and we feel so fortunate to have found this lovely escape. We are already planning to book for next summer!

This was perfect for what we were looking for. Great amenities and a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. The beach area is great and the views of the bridge, sunsets and waterfront were amazing. Ordel is very responsive and helpful in every way. The house is very nice and has everything you need. Just a few minutes from town makes it easy to get to everything while also having some peace and quiet of your own.

What a GEM of a place! From the moment we walked in - it was so peaceful. The location was perfect - quiet yet convenient (close to the grocery store) and the cabin is clean and has so much character. Russ and Jade communicated throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for a place to truly disconnect and immerse in nature in a cozzy cabin, you will not regret booking. This place is special.

This is a really good location for those wanting to be between Saugatuck and Holland. The one thing I want to point out is how much daylight comes in very early in the morning. If you like to sleep in a little, good luck! Other than that, Beth’s place was cozy, comfy and very clean.

The cottage was perfect for my family! Towels. Washrags, soaps, lotion and all the extras provided was helpful to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable! My kids 1 & 4 loved the toys, games and beach toys. It was such a relaxing getaway! The lake was perfect with a sandy beach and shallow for the kids to play. They enjoyed the water table provided and the paddle boat! The hosts were responsive in any questions or concerns we had. We would love to stay again in the future!

Perfect private cabin in the woods. It is far enough from downtown Saugatuck to avoid traffic but close enough that we could easily run back to relieve the dog when needed. About 7 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. There were so many amenities we didn't get to use (ran out of time), but were super nice to see like the fire pit and the sauna. It is super private and very well hidden. Maybe too well hidden. My only gripe regarding our stay was the initial finding of the driveway LOL. It looks more like a trail and it is RIGHT after the guardrail nearby. But hey, you can guarantee no one will stumble upon your private stay. The interior of this studio cabin was gorgeous and super clean. Overall, we ran out of time to explore all of Saugatuck and we will definitely be using this place again the next time we visit.

Excellent lighting features i.e. motion sensor lights in kitchen if needing to find something at night. Another was great lighted mirrored in the bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with premier pots, pans and dishes, along with new meat thermometer and other items needed for cooking and grilling. Hostess cooled the cabin off for us prior to arrival on an unusually hot day. She also responded quickly to our questions.

In our experience, it's always rare to find a place that lives up to the hype of the description, however in this case, The Nest exceeded the already great expectations as described. Sure, the photos do the best they can to capture the view that is afforded to guests, but walking into the living room and seeing the view is breathtaking. You'll quickly find yourself trying to decide between taking the time to explore the town of Frankfort (which is great), or spending all your time on the balcony taking in the views. It truly was a welcoming accommodation, and we felt at home immediately. Everything you need is available, and we were very surprised by how large the bedroom was. it was our first time to Northern Michigan, and we cannot wait to return. Charlie and Suzy's location will be the first place we check for availability when we do!
