Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Mendota

The Dylin is my new favorite spot to stay in Madison! While booking through AirBnb, you will still get clear check-in instructions and information via email/text and they are available 24/7 via text message which is very helpful! The location is perfect for walking to local bars, restaurants and the beautiful Lake Mendota. Street parking is available if you can find it but varies with timed parking/no parking time slots - spend the extra $20/night with secured garage parking offered by The Dylin.

Perfect for our little family of 4 that included a baby and toddler! Having a little kitchen was so helpful. We enjoyed being across the road in a more secluded area not within the hotel too! Eric sent multiple messages with all the info we needed! Would definitely stay again!

Had a great time at the resort!! Had everything we needed!! Having a washer and dryer was amazing after the waterpark to dry our bathing suits and towels! A full size kitchen was a plus with a bigger group too we ran to Walmart which was super close and saved us money on food. They even had movies and games available at the front desk! Plenty of activities to Lee a family busy! I just wish it was closer to home so we could visit more!

Kari has a wonderful home. The basement apartment we stayed in was perfect. It was private and had a great view. It was just as described and we didn’t want for anything. Kari even helped us get set up in advance, putting out a crib and age appropriate toys for our kiddo. Checking in was simple and smooth. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we are visiting.

We love staying at Glacier Canyon Lodge. It is a bit of a hike to get to all the parks and attractions but we don’t mind getting out and walking. The Wyndham wing is always much quieter and has almost no foot traffic as opposed to the rest of the resort. We would definitely book with Larissa again. She was very helpful in getting our whole family into rentals.

Fun stay, great amenities! The host was great- place was very comfortable. It was a bit loud with kids all hours of the night but that was out of her control. Just more of an FYI. Again, the family friendly place that it is, not completely unexpected. We would book with her again- was alot of fun!

We had a great time enjoying the waterpark and it was nice to have a kitchen in the room. Overall it was a great value and we would stay again!

Was able to text John directly and had great communication and responded quickly. Also had missed booked the weekend and he was able to get it switched to the right weekend and was on top of it very professional.

We had so much fun at our stay!! The place is extremely clean and has a brand new kitchen & new appliances. It's nice having a full bathroom downstairs & upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is lofted so the kids enjoyed seeing if various items of theirs could fly :)) There was a Roku box on both tvs upstairs and downstairs so it was easy to watch shows/movies. Wifi was solid. Its an easy walk to the activity center. They have tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, racquetball, pool & hot tub along with changing facilities; all free to reserve/use. You could probably spend all week here and never leave! It was our first time here so we did all the touristy things and loved it: Bellos Circus, Rick Wilcox Magic Theater, WizardQuest, Ripleys, Mirror Maze, Big Chief Gokarts, Kalahari Waterpark, Frischs BigBoy etc! It was super convenient having a walmart, DD, kohls, McDs, Ross etc so close. The house was very quiet. Be sure to bring shampoo and any food condiments, otherwise everything is here.

Great get away for the weekend. Most places were 10-20 minutes away and an easy commute and so many things to do. Todd was very responsive to the few questions we had. Room was great and was right behind the water park.

It was a nice little house located inside a golf club. Beautiful environment and nice facilities. Plenty of beds and pillows which was very nice. The host was quick to respond to our inquiries during the stay. The spiral staircase was the only thing that was a little concern to us because of the little kids. Overall, it was a very good place to stay if you're visiting the Lake Geneva area.

Our host was very responsive and guided us well. we used the amenities at Tamarack activity center and had so much fun. The location was also like 10mins from everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Samantha was an excellent host! We really enjoyed staying there and the location was perfect. It was great to just park the car and be able to walk around town.

Stayed here for a sisters weekend- and it was great for 6 sisters between the ages of 60-75. Two bedrooms on main floor and 2 downstairs worked great for us. Things were a little dated- but hey- so are we. We had a couple of issues that needed attn and James was most attentive and took care of them immediately. I would recommend. Great value for 6 women with varying needs! Especially loved the hot tub in the natural surroundings!!!

We really enjoyed Andy's place! The location is beautiful, right on the lake. We fished right off the pier and also took the boat out to fish. Andy had instructions for EVERYTHING, which was so helpful! We will be back!

Our family—including me, my wife, our daughter, and our puppy—had a wonderful time. Ginger was very kind and provided detailed information, including how to use the amenities like the swimming pools. The property was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near downtown, where we had a great time exploring. We’d definitely recommend this place to any family and would love to return on our next trip to Galena.

Brian and Jonny were very responsive and communicative from beginning to end. It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to find a pet friendly place during the start of the summer season. The house was clean, cozy and close to walking trails. Although we did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or hot tub (they have a wood burning fireplace for the winter), we enjoyed the screened in porch and open concept layout of the house, as pictured in the profile. The house is situated between two other houses blocked somewhat by the trees. I would describe as semi-private where we could see their back patio/hot tub/fire pit and vice versa. But whatever your personal comfort level, you can’t beat the proximity to trails, Owners Club, and easy access to Hwy 20 to Galena! We enjoyed our stay and exploring!

I visited Linda's place with a big group of friends including three kiddos and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for everyone and a ton of things to do on the property. The location was easy to get to and close to the downtown Galena area. The pictures really don't do the house justice. It's beautiful with a lot of space. Leading up the trip and during I had several questions. Responses always came super quickly (usually under 5 minutes). She was a delight to talk to worked to make sure our trip went perfectly. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Galena area. Everyone in my group would 100% return.

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and peaceful but also very close to down town. I loved drinking my coffee outside in the mornings it was so peaceful! I’d recommend Joel’s air bnb to anyone wanting to travel to galena. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Joel was a great host. He gave us all the information and checked In on us throughout our stay. We had a great time!
