Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Maxinkuckee

OMG! The pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!! I thought I walked into the wrong airbnb! I am not kidding! It was absolutely gorgeous!! Super luxurious! Oh and he had EVERYTHING in every room! From a „pantry“ stocked with all kinds of games, to fancy bathtubs, showers and jets! I have never seen a kitchen that literally had everything! Different kinds of coffees and even to go cups. Simply amazing. The outdoor area had a fire pit for like 8 people WITH plenty of firewood and a huge LIGHTER. He also has a tennis court with pickle ball, badminton and tennis rackets. I mean what else does one need?! Lastly he was extremely kind. A guest broke a sugar container accidentally, and Chris told us not to worry. We definitely will be staying here next year when we return for our annual rivertubing occasion. :)

Absolutely loved David’s place! It’s a very cute cottage near a ton of great places to eat, shop and play! Super clean, super cozy and David was great to work with! This was definitely a nice place away from home that still felt like home. Highly recommend you book this place!!

The space was lovely, parking was easy and the host was super responsive/accommodating! Highly recommend!

Jen’s loft was a 10 out of 10! An unusual but creative idea to put an Airbnb in an antique store, out in the country down a very quiet road. Loved it! The setup and design was impressive and she definitely has the knack of decorating to make you feel at home. Up the steps to the loft there is an open living room/bedroom that has a very comfortable king size bed and the bathroom has a nice size shower and soft water. There is a small frig and coffee maker in the loft but also a full size kitchen downstairs. Everything you need! We enjoyed a walk on her property past the flower garden out to the pond. Plenty of wildlife to see, Sandhill cranes and deer along with all their rescue animals. Her antique store is outstanding, the way she displays all her items, so much fun shopping there! She and her parents are super nice people and awesome hosts!

Nice place to stay. Great to have 2 full bathrooms and pet friendly.

Our mini vacation here was awesome. Having the water right there was so nice and the hosts had anything you would need. I would definitely stay here again. They were so nice and accommodating.

Checking into this place, it was easy to notice, Tracy cares and she spent a lot of time thinking about items a guest would want to feel at home. A mini fridge stocked with a variety of beverages, coffee and tea station (as advertised, no true kitchen), and a nice basket of "did you forget an item?" in the bathroom. The unit was decorated nice with local items and it was very clean. wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful overnight stay/. The Half Moon Cottage is just lovely and its right by the bike path so we were able to ride our bikes in to town for breakfast? Nice spaces outside even had rabbits and birds visiting. If we are ever in Goshen in the future, we know where we are staying!

House was clean, Cute place. We enjoyed being out on the kayaks and paddle board. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great mini vacation. Thanks Heidy

We were very happy to find Lindsey's listing. The cabin was beautiful. Once we arrived we really didn't want to leave. Mike had a wonderful Christmas light display in the living area which he shared with us. We really hope to stay here in the future. Wonderful place to stay and wonderful and gracious hosts. Spent Easter in this wonderful little heavenly oasis with my mom and grandson. when I tell you that the surroundings alone were enough to make you want to move in I am not exaggerating and the tiny cabin? priceless..special goodies from the farm were left for us..the bed was so super comfy and the loft? the grandsons own special hideaway. We just had such a blast over all that I don't have enough room to say all the things we loved. In closing I do have to mention how we loved all the animals however one stole our hearts..Sampson the gentleman protector. Boy will we miss those special daily visits 💓

This cabin was a perfect remote, relaxing and quiet getaway...yet had so many great amenities like volleyball, paddle boards, a kayak, canoe and fishing rods. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. Perfect getaway for a group that wants a non-touristy private lake, but still have the option for tons of fun together! On top of all that, Lisa was incredibly helpful, responsive and provided the perfect balance of communication (prior to and during our stay). It was obvious that she takes great pride in her cabin and property. We can't wait to go back!

Such a great place for a weekend getaway! Very cozy and has everything you need for the weekend. The hot tub was SO much fun & an amazing way to wind down for the night. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away for a few!

We enjoyed the cabin! It was so authentic and very cozy and comfortable! We enjoyed conversations with Sarah and the duck and chickens were such a delight to have around. They are very calm and kind animals. The kids loved the swing set she offered for them to play on her other property that is right next door! We loved fishing and using the fire pit! Sarah was also renovating her outside and we offered to give her a hand! We listened to music and raked leaves and put mulch in for her flowers! We loved the interaction! We loved the living room as it was super warm and cozy for the kiddos! The place was very desirable in location and accolade for a family with two adults and infant and 3 toddlers. The cabin was decorated with her families hunting stories and memories of her husband which was sentimental and very honorable. If you like to be outdoors and have the whole country hunting experience and live relaxed - this is place is for you! This was amazing and we would love to book again
