Lake side cabin rentals in Lake Madison

This was our second time staying here. The cabin is big enough for large families. The kitchen was well stocked, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We had a terrific time!

I cannot say enough great things about the Lakeside cabin. Warm and cozy, beautifully decorated. Super clean! Had everything you needed including coffee maker and filters. Even had a booster seat and pack n play for our youngest and a wide variety of toys and games that all 3 of my kiddos loved! Such a relaxing spot! Thanks Micah!

this our group's 4thr year staying here and we love it. it's always feels like home away from home. the house is comfortable and great for our ladies' weekend but would be awesome for families with kids too.

Christian and Jaki were very communicative and made us feel at home right at check in with a nice welcome basket for us and our dogs! The home felt so comfy, like you’ve been there many times before. The kitchen had everything we needed, making it easy to stay in and cook. We loved the proximity to Sioux Falls, but mostly enjoyed spending time on the back porch and by the water. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back. Great hosts, great place. It was beautiful!

The lake house was absolutely what you would need for relaxing and entertaining getaway. Both the outdoor and indoor seating areas were inviting and cozy. The view of the lake and the private and quiet neighborhood provided the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The house was spacious and clean and had anything on hand that could’ve been forgotten. I can honestly say, I cannot wait to stay again!

Great place to stay. Only downfall is we stayed during the coldest week of the year. But was still great.

If you seek peace, reflection, and beautiful views provided by a truly gracious host, then this is where you should go. Staying here reminded me of the days when Air BnB first came about; a day where the actual host communicated with you rather than a 3rd party and didn’t just give you a house, but they gave you a home. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, full of amenities for cooking, a whole lot of complimentary snacks, great communicable neighbors with sincere joyousness. If you’re questioning at all where to stay, you shouldn’t, because this is it.

Very cozy home! We loved being there and loved fishing and walking around. Felt very at home although it was rainy we had a great time inside. They were very accommodating with a has/coal grill the private deck to fish. Overall amazing place with a beautiful view! Would very likely go back!

Wonderful stay. Peaceful and relaxing weekend for our family. Just enough space for our needs. Friendly neighbors who were kind to our children while they were playing outside. No frills, but when you're at the lake, what else do you need!? Thank you again!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Kari’s place. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful throughout. The location was peaceful and quiet. One of my favorite things was the outdoor space and view. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for the great hospitality!

A great cabin right on the water! Beautiful views and easy to get to. We went just to relax for a long weekend and relax we did. Good place to eat and mini-mart within walking distance. But most of all you can't beat the views out onto the lake. It was a bummer that we hit a spring winter storm or we would have spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the water. We hope to be back someday!!

My husband and I brought our son and 2 of his friends to visit DSU and this place was perfect! Everything was thought of and provided, the garage/recreation area was a dream come true for the boys and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. We felt very at home and it was an incredible weekend of memories. Thank you! We already plan to come back with our younger kids this summer!

We will stay there again. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed the restaurant across the street as they had a great menu with a variety of things. We played golf a couple of times and the golf course was in excellent shape. I would recommend staying here as you are only approx 30 min from Sioux Falls and close to Madison so there are plenty of things to do.

I cannot say enough about Lakes Lodge and the family that runs it. This is the second year we have held our family reunion there. The description of the rooms and location was perfect! The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has excellent food with staff both there and in the bar that make you feel right at home. We were close to everything we needed to be, lake, Wentworth, Chester and Madison. Adam is our host and he is the nicest, most accommodating person I’ve ever worked with. He works very hard to make every part of your stay absolutely perfect. Thank you to this amazing family for creating such a wonderful place to be away from home. I’d give a 10 star if it available! P.S. we rented several rooms but I’ll just write this review for all of them 😊

I didn't mind the bathroom situation. This was all I needed. It's the right price. Hotels were selling rooms at $300 that night so this was a bargain!

Huge room, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. will comfortably sleep 4.

We definitely will be staying at this Airbnb again. It was a little too cold to hangout outside but are looking forward to going back when it’s warmer. We still enjoyed staying inside with the comfy couches and some hot chocolate watching movies with our family!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here twice and both times we were extremely happy with everything. Even when there were very minor issues, Adam addressed the issues in a very friendly and professional manner. My only disappointment is our favorite room is booked out for a year or so, but we are looking forward to returning when there is an opening. I would like to also compliment the Bar and Grill for excellent food and service!!!
