Lake Hope fishing places to stay

Absolutely peace parades. Away from the hustle and bulse of city life. Beautiful, swimmable, fishable large pond with a few paddle boats and row boat plus life jackets for adults and children. Nice, Full Length covered front porch with swing and rocking chairs for relaxation while watching the Humming Birds feed from the feeders. They have thought of everything. Inside nice and clean and they even provide Wi-Fi access as well as a laptop for your use. All the cooking gadgets, utensils and cookware needed for anyone working the kitchen plus cooking items like Fish Fry powder, flour, condiments for just about anything 2 coffee makers (single cup Kureg and 12 cup drip both with either Kureg coffee cups or regular ground coffee and filters.) There is just Sooo much that can be said and Rodger N mary went Above and Beyond what you'd experience in most any place you can think of. I forgot to mention the FARM FRESH EGGS they provide. 5 STARS - BIG 3 THUMBS UP. We'll be back!!!

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

10/10 Would recommend! We will probably do this again. This house is well designed, spotless, the art is so beautiful and the view peaceful. They have a book with lots information about local places and activities. This is a completely different experience than my last bnb in the best possible way! It seems a little extra was put into every single thing. I was not ready to leave.

Tammi and her husband were both friendly and helpful. Great hosts with a clean and cozy home. The view was great and we felt right at home during our stay.

PERFECT!! We booked this unit mostly for the location near Hocking Hills and capacity to sleep 13 of us and those were honestly bonuses because the house had great layout for all of us to hang out, relax and eat, was easily accessible yet felt very private, was immaculate, and had everything amenity - wise right down to towels and hooks for the hot tub. Only regret is we didn’t have a chance to use the nearby pickleball court! The hosts reached out appropriately but everything was perfect so we didn’t need any help from them during our visit. Hope to be back soon!

Great stay! The property looks just like the pictures. Clean, well maintained, and great spaces for spending time together.

We had a great stay in Monarch cabin for our family trip. It was a great location to see all the attractions and not a far drive into town for restaurants and grocery shopping. We had what we needed in the kitchen to cook everyday. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Sarah was a fantastic communicator and gave great tips on things to do in the area. I did not have any trouble finding the location using Google maps. Idownloaded the maps before I left because cell service was unavailable in the area as it states in the listing. We would definitely stay here again.

This was such a great experience for us. It was exactly what we wanted yet somehow even better than we had hoped for. Jennifer was so kind and helpful. It was honestly a dreamy couple of days for us at the magical treehouse. Memories that will last us for a very long time. 10/10 would recommend. We cannot wait to come back!

Nice quaint spot pretty close to all the trails of hocking hills. Felt private enough despite having a few neighbors near bye. Great fishing spot just a walk away from the cottage. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning from what we saw. Tried lowering the thermostat but didn’t do anything. Couldn’t find any air vents for where an AC would come from. Recommend bringing fans for the hotter months but luckily it wasn’t too hot and opening the windows brought a good breeze in.

Rachel was amazing about responding quickly whenever we reached out and her team did a great job correcting the few issues we had. Our family had a WONDERFUL time. Thanks so much!!! Pros: - jacuzzi - arcade area - quiet atmosphere and proximity to Hocking Hills Cons: - one of the two entrances to the community had more than a few potholes - the lawn was being redone, so it was challenging keeping the mud at bay due to rain - three of the bedrooms don't have doors, as noted in the listing

This cabin is amazing! It's such a beautiful space and the outdoor space is perfect - between the dock, the fire pit, and the hot tub, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy. It's an easy drive to Hocking Hills State Park and floating out on the lake was really peaceful and easy.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend!

The property & walking paths on this house are worth booking alone! The paths are so beautiful at night when the solar lights line the whole way! Even the nearby pond offered hours of entertainment for my kids. The bedrooms are large & the bed linens are wonderful after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is very well stocked too (found syrup, luckily). And to top it all off, you’re very near all of the best Hocking Hills hikes.

The house was clean and conviently located. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. We were on a tight budget so it met our needs.

We arrived to a pristinely clean home with everything we needed for our stay including all kitchen items and extra towels. The host was very responsive when we had questions prior to arrival which was very helpful. The entire home was adorably and thoughtfully decorated. We had wished the hot tub was covered due to the rain we encountered, but we were able to catch a spot or two without rain to hop in. Also, the minimal checkout cleaning list was much appreciated as we were moms attempting to get away from those responsibilities for a bit. We had a wonderful weekend and would book this location again should we choose to revisit the area.

This was a great spot! It’s not too far from restaurants and stores. We felt safe and it was a quiet area. We felt secluded even though there are two other cabins close by. The cabin was really clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Gd was super responsive and friendly. We felt like Gd was always available as needed. We will definitely be back! Too, the kids loved it (our dog too)😊!!

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

This place was perfect! There were 7 of us plus my dog and it was the perfect size. It was super private so I was able to let my dog out without bothering others. The hot tub and fire pit were great and very much used! The deck was perfect for outdoor drinks and music. We will definitely be back next year!

We loved our time here! There was so much space for our seven adults and six kids. We could comfortably eat dinner together upstairs. We spent alot of time downstairs enjoying each other’s time while the kids ran around. We enjoy the hot tub day and night. Nice walk out porches that were comfortable to relax on.
