Apartment vacation rentals in Lake Hayes Estate

Stayed here for a week with my sister. Was a great place to stay, super convenient for public transport to travel to and from the airport, Queenstown and Arrowtown. We found the place had all the amenities we needed and more, we highly recommend and would stay here again!

We loved Sarah’s place. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable and everything as described. The one element exceeding expectations was the view, just incredible. We used a hire car to get into the centre of town and do day trips which worked well for us. We did five days and would be keen to come back here for more.

Excellent, private, quiet and convenient. Off the main road, so quiet, but can walk to the city center; best of both worlds. Safe and convenient parking. Would highly recommend.

Loved the place. It was exactly as described and better than I could imagine. Everything was easy and smooth. Lyndal is always there to help you with anything. Overall, great way to make our Queenstown trip memorable.

We are a couple in our late 30's who were looking for a quiet location we could go in and out of and have time to chill out comfortably if needed. Lake Hayes was a great location as its right next door to Arrowtown and just 25 minutes from Queenstown waterfront. It's a great gateway to all the towns like Cardrona, Wanaka, Cromwell, Gibbston, Lake Tekapo etc. A great alternative to Queenstown. Peter and Jilly are lovely hosts and have a beautiful home overlooking what looks like an oil painting landscape! There are trees and rolling hills and gardens and birdsong, frost in the chilly mornings, and snow capped Coronet peak - it was just a stunning location. Their house is modern and has beautiful high ceilings and is well equipped with everything you need.

My partner and I spent a few days here for our first trip to Queenstown and it was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! The apartment itself is tidy and cosy and the view of the lake is beautiful and even better than the photos 😍 Kirsty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed as well as providing some great local recommendations including a scenic walk into town, which we loved doing every day. We would stay here again and 100% recommend!

Beautiful located accommodation under Marc's home. Great view of the lake, out door furniture and heating provided. Well equipped property. We walked down to the lake shore but it is a bit steep especially on our way back.

This place is a gem! There are many restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops within walking distance. And the view is incredible! I could spend hours sitting on the deck watching the sky change over the mountains and the lake. Can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip to Queenstown!

Nice modern upstairs stay with incredible views. Katerina also allowed a late check out which we appreciated. We also stayed in Queenstown and this spot was very accessible to get to the airport and also had great playgrounds and a nice cafe/restaurant nearby

Had an absolutely fabulous time ,great accommodation easy walking distance to everything . Numerous restaurants and bars nearby Good local bus link to Queenstown if you didn’t feel like driving , and of course scenery to die for. Our Hosts were welcoming and friendly and communication was excellent We we definitely being revisiting! Regards Steve and Sheryl

The view from the apartment was the showstopper - just waking up to the postcard-worthy scenery each morning made our day. The apartment was spacious and the rooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Better than what we could have imagined! No.8 Queenstown will forever hold some out happiest memories. We stayed here for 4 nights for our 10 year anniversary and the place was immaculately presented, smelt so fresh & clean & it was somehow even better than the photos! The views from the living area and bath are breathtaking. Karine is so pleasant, incredibly helpful & generous in the additional amenities that she provided & it was truly hard to leave. I cannot wait til we can come back again. Thank you for making our Queenstown stay the absolute best!

We LOVED our stay here. I booked the place immediately while I was looking at places to stay in Queenstown. Place looked EXACTLY like the photos very ig worthy! The kitchen, laundry area and the bathroom are my fave parts of this home. We hope to be staying here again we come back next time. Cheers!

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay away from the madness of Queenstown but close enough to visit, this place is perfect. Given so many attractions are on this side of Queenstown (Arrowtown, Highlands Motorsport Park etc etc), it’s an excellent location, though you’ll need a car. It’s a beautiful space with lots of nice touches and very peaceful. We loved our stay

It is one of the best accommodations I have lived. Located in new development area Jack’s point, perfect location to Arrow-town ,Queenstown centre and airport. House is very spacious, got everything we wanted “conditioner, cooking oil etc.” Mattress and duvet set is the perfect match to our family, so we can enjoy a good sleep at night. We will definitely come back later.

Couldn’t have asked for better! Location and view is absolutely amazing. Just close enough to walk into town but far enough away that you can get out of Queenstown easily. The accommodation had absolutely everything we needed for a long stay and was so cosy. Loved the loft style and the fireplace!

Brilliant location, home and host. Don't bother staying anywhere else as this experience was perfect.

Great location and the place had everything we needed

This truly beautiful property felt like magic. From the charming decor to the stunning view of the lake, there was something wonderful in every corner. We were comfortable, warm and cosy right throughout our stay, which felt like the perfect base while we explored Queenstown and beyond.

Great place to stay. Nice views and a well equipped kitchen. Some of the pictures were more flattering/spacious than the actual space. Overall was a great stay. The spa pool was a great addition and fit 4 adults.

Wow, what an incredible place. Great location and beautiful little homestay. Very modern furnishings and elegantly decorated. Laura was a willing and helpful host, I recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful little queenstown getaway, check this place out. 5 minutes from the town centre made staying here a great choice, and fernhill felt like you were out of town. Private, quiet and the views absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again if I wasn't interested in trying different things. I couldn't have asked for anymore !

We enjoyed our stay and Pete and Sarah were very organised. The house was perfect for me and my little family and nice and cosy. Would definately reccommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to stay while in Queenstown.
