Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Lake Hāwea

Lorraine was a great host and communicated proactively about scheduled maintenance for the unit. Wanaka is an amazing town, and the place was very spacious!

A really great apartment, we would happily stay in again. Lots of space, comfortable beds, a decently stocked kitchen. The one tip I would give to anyone staying with young kids who need to nap during the day - the second bedroom gets quite warm on sunny days. We kept all the curtains closed up and had the aircon on (it’s in the lounge room) while out in the morning so it wasn’t roasting in there come nap time. A small portable aircon would be an amazing add, but granted I don’t think a lot of people would really need it. Some cot specific linen is also needed, but we easily managed with a spare sheet. Easy parking, heaps of things located in this suburb and only 15 minutes right into the centre of Queenstown. Also, go to the Remarkables Market around the corner if you are there on Saturdays.

We stayed here for over a month and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely ideal. It's tucked away on a quiet dead-end street, yet just a 5-minute walk to downtown Wanaka and the lake. It felt very private and peaceful, with no traffic noise, just the sound of the little stream/brook, which we could see and hear from both the bedroom window and the living room balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we cooked nearly every night. Elizabeth, our host, was incredibly responsive and helped us sort out a minor internet issue right away. We also really appreciated the hospitality—Mike, our local point of contact, even lent us hiking poles for some nearby trails. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful spot. Would absolutely return!

Very Clean & Cosy apartment! The view is so beautiful,especially walking out from the main bedroom as it’s the first thing you can see. Loved the heated flooring and towel rails in the bathrooms. Wardrobe space in both bedrooms was large & welcomed! More pantry space would be handy in the kitchen area but other than that this apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable stay :)

A beautiful, tidy, and spotless new house. We really enjoyed our two-night stay—everything was perfect. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back!

Martin’s place was amazing. We had a fantastic stay and found the apartment and its views incredible. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed and more! The location was perfect if you want some peaceful with a stunning view. The parking was super easy as well as entry and exit to the apartment. We had the best time here and would definitely stay here again when I visit Queenstown again. Thank you Martin :)

Victoria’s place was just exactly what we needed for a family of 4 adults. We arrived later at night and Victoria was being thoughtful to turned the heat on for us and left the door unlocked for us so that we could just have an easy access to the house after a long drive. The place was very spacious, cozy and situated in a peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay here. Our children really enjoyed using the amenities (pool, ping pong, tennis courts)! The apartment was a great size for our family, clean, well appointed and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Check in/out was great, it’s in a great location, and we would love to stay here again! Thanks!

Amazing place to stay in Lake Hawea. The house is modern, warm and cosy. Perfect for family getaways. Maree was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

stayed in Lauren's place for 3nights with family nd friends. the location is the best with a great view. close to Frankton area where you can buy all your groceries. There was also a park nearby for kids. only thing was, not enough cooking wares for a big group. otherwise, everything was perfect

Wow! What a place! The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, the combination of the sound of the river flowing, the snow on the mountain peaks, the green grass and unbelievable views immediately calmed the soul. We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the steam sauna just outside of the house. The house is spacious, the linen is sooo comfortable, it has everything you could want and more. we have traveled all over the world and Rebecca and Graeme’s Airbnb is right up there with one of the best we have stayed. Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

Beautiful place with the most amazing view. We were 3 families with 6 kids in total and they fit perfectly in the bunk room. Everything felt so luxurious and comfortable, especially the high quality beds. Our kids loved the place!

Kristy's place exceeded our expectations and set the scene for a luxurious end to our NZ trip! Allocated parking, great location and soooo spacious + great view towards Skyline gondola. We were a party of three adult travellers. Easy walk down into town to access all it has to offer (but note that the walk back up is a steep one!). Check in was smooth and the place was east to use - Kristy is a diligent host and info provided was thorough and covered all eventualities. Though we only stayed for 3 nights, the place is fully kitted out for a longer stay which I hope we can come back and do soon! 1000% recommend Kristy and her place.

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Mi Ae’s for two nights. It has a spectacular view of Lake Whakatipu and we get to see the boats cruising around and flights take off and down. It is a very relaxing spot and I would return to stay here for a better relaxing time.
