Our family stayed as part of a road trip around Iowa. We always look for unique places to stay, and a houseboat was a great experience! It was bigger than we expected, well supplied, and clean and easy to use. Our party was 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-11) and we had plenty of room. The kids thought the sleeping quarters were super fun, and the play kitchen kept my toddler entertained in the evenings. The kitchen was very functional, and we made breakfast and dinner there each day. The roof outdoor space looked fun, but we didn't use it given the cold weather and the young kids. We felt no rocking from being on the water. The hosts gave clear instructions on finding the houseboat, as well as with the checkout process. Very happy with our stay.

We just returned from a 3-night stay at this incredible Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! Our group of four had an absolute blast – it truly exceeded all our expectations. The amenities were thoughtfully curated – we didn't want for a single thing during our stay. Since we could only give 5 stars, it will have to do, but this place was definitely a perfect 10! Absolutely immaculate home, with all of amenities needed for a pleasant, relaxing, weekend in Galena. Brian was great and though our stay was short and we truly did want for anything, he checked in with us upon arrival and periodically during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend both the property and the host! Thank you, Brian!

This was a perfect spot for a family long weekend. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. The separate floors allowed for privacy, but the main floor was big enough for meals and watching TV for the entire group. The location was perfect - <5 min to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, with total privacy and a beautiful view of the lake.

My husband enjoyed a fun weekend on the floating suite! We went to the marina’s restaurant when we got there, and the boat was super easy to find and get into. We had a really fun day in both galena and then Dubuque as well! Would definitely come back for another unique stay!

Beth was a fantastic host. She answered all my pre arrival questions quickly. We were there in late April and it was so peaceful and quiet, not to mention private and at the end of the road so most private spot in that section. It was clean and Retro, everything worked and it’s fully stocked for what you need. We saw lots of wildlife as well. The hot tub is perfect. Thanks again it was fantastic.

A great place with kids. We had a very short stay but were very warmly welcomed at the door. The pets were super friendly and made quick friends with our sons. The restaurant recommendations were spot on and the immediate area is quiet and walkable. I would recommend this place to families that love space and animals. The hosts are nice people who go out of their way to make you feel at home!
