This is our 5th time staying here and it is always wonderful. We has such a great girls weekend cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the patio. Even though this time we watched more TV because it rained the whole weekend. It was still relaxing. Looked forward to next year. Thank you Joel.

Fantastic stay for a wedding weekend! Was very comfortable for 3 couples. We all had our own bathroom and a great living and dining area to accommodate all of us. Liz was very responsive and you can tell she is a host that goes the extra mile! Would recommend for anyone in East Texas.

The home was perfect for my young family of four, + two grandparents and exactly as described, a beautiful location. It was seemingly all brand new inside and spotless, which was extremely appreciated after previous vacation rentals. The excessive June rain caused the dock/yard to be underwater -absolutely not the hosts fault- The younger family members walked through/stood in the water to fish and swim from it anyways. For future June rainfall guests: The lake is separated by a bridge, the home is located off of this bridge. The home is on the small section and the rest of the lake is under the bridge. The water level meant we couldn't boat under the bridge to return the older folks directly to the house during the heat of the day. If your bringing old folks who need to be inside during midday, I'd advise guests to check expected rainfall for June in the year they rent. If you've got a young family June is no problem.

Beautiful house and lot with a private dock. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there including spices. The stairs were a little difficult to climb as the heights vary. Separate thermostats were great

My family and I came in to town for my Dad’s funeral. There are no decent hotel options in the Winnsboro area so we looked for an Airbnb. We found Johnna’s place which was close to my dad’s place and Winnsboro. It had a home like feel out in the country and was perfect for us. We loved the coffee bar and all the board games and cards. We spent so much time in the kitchen playing games and reminiscing about my dad.

Our stay at Josh’s place was superb. The house was charming and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was beautiful and we found everything we needed there. Josh was so friendly and super responsive to any questions we had. Would absolutely recommend!!

The setting was absolutely stunning—peaceful, private, and full of natural charm. What made it even more special was the gorgeous house on-site, which offered the ideal space to relax after the celebration. Our family enjoyed every minute, especially the kids who had a blast swimming in the pool! Having everything in one place—from the ceremony to the reception to the overnight stay—made the day feel seamless and intimate. We’ll always remember the joy, the laughter, and the love we shared here. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to host a wedding that feels personal, cozy, and unforgettable.

Cute little tiny house, great for a fishing getaway! Comfy king sized bed with nice linens. Boat dock nearby to see gorgeous sunsets over the lake. I reserved this location because I was traveling to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, and could not get a reservation in Canton. This was a lovely place, but a little further drive from Canton than I would have preferred. All that to say, if I were planning a fishing trip to Lake Fork, I would definitely book Off the Hook again!

The house was great. We loved the peaceful quiet area and it was close to our family we were visiting. The amenities were excellent the kids loved our stay we will definitely return!

I really can’t say enough about this property! Although our stay was very short, we had everything we needed and more! Beautiful home for a quick getaway, but even more gorgeous if you were planning a wedding or an event! Even though Angela was preparing for a wedding, she was more than accommodating and answered questions in the most timely fashion. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home/ranch with us! We will most definitely be back when we travel that way again!

It was perfect for our quick weekend to Tyler for a baseball tournament. The pool was very convenient on our off time when it was hot. Very quiet complex and it was very nice being able to bring our dog with us.

Heather was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with….super friendly and helpful with all my questions. The neighborhood was a lake community, with mostly RVs and trailers. I was expecting more traditional houses in the gated community but I didn’t fully research the area. Overall our experience was pleasant and the cottage was adorable. We would stay here again.

Chris was great to work with from the initial reservation all the way through letting him know we had locked up and drove away! He was quick to provide local recommendations, events and sights to see. The property and accommodations were exactly as listed and it was more than we could ask for! With three families as well as visiting relatives from the area, the homes were more than enough space for us all. We really enjoyed the dock for fishing, John boating, catching frogs, watching lizards, and admiring the beautiful azaleas. My 95 year old father had no problem moving throughout the main house. We even got to enjoy a crawfish boil at the enormous outside dining table under the stars. What a beautiful property and so glad we made so many memories! Thanks again, Chris!

Fantastic stay! This Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location. There were tons of activities to keep the kids entertained, and we caught plenty of catfish during our stay. It truly couldn’t have been a better spot for a lake getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our get away, away from the city life. It was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. Our fur babies loved it as well.

The cabin was beautiful. it was so peaceful to sit outside. We saw plenty of deer that came right in the backyard, we also saw some fox. My 7 year old granddaughter loved seeing all of the wildlife. I would definitely stay there again. Just wish I had more time to enjoy the amenities.

Kathy's place is the perfect spot to visit Sulphur Springs and the surrounding area. It is only a few minutes drive to the quaint downtown area. Slaughter's BBQ is some of the best that we have ever had (we have visited many of the famed 50 Best BBQ in TX locations). The house is very clean, the beds were so comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was incredible. Kathy provides everything you need for a quality stay. Above and Beyond - Kathy helped coordinate having flowers delivered for a surprise birthday gift. Kathy and her husband were aware that we were going to use the fire pit and that there was rain in the forecast so they made sure there was dry wood under the carport for us to use. We have stayed at Airbnb's all over the world and Kathy is one of the most gracious hosts ever.
