Beautiful and peaceful location. Cute place for a short stay. Great spot!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

Cannot say a single bad word about staying at this absolutely beautiful place! We were greeted by Andrea who gave us recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Then we made ourselves at home and oh my gosh, it is such a gorgeous property. We stayed with the girls the night before our friends wedding and it was the perfect backdrop for photos and getting ready. The rooms are stunning and the ensuites to the 2 main bedrooms were super handy. We have already decided to come back next year for a relaxing girls weekend away. Could not have asked for a better stay!

I can't thank Brigitte and John enough for sharing their wonderful farm with us. Between the amazing views and outstanding hospitality there isn't anything else you could ask for. From booking to check out this place has it all. Brigitte's warm welcome, and extensive local knowledge makes activity planning a breeze. The house feels like a home away from home. Everything is clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you need. Brigitte and John are hands down super hosts. We felt like we were staying with family. I highly recommend booking with them, and will stay there again!

Lovely quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Lots to do in the local area. Greeted by Luca the friendly dog, and Tony and Jacky were wonderful hosts who went over and above by providing homemade bread and cake!

A beautiful spot to stay. Felicity and Don were so hospitable and friendly. Fresh flowers, home made bread and eggs all provided. We had a fabulous weekend staying with them. Highly recommend this property.

Brilliant home with great chill spaces on a fantastic farm stay. The outlook from the wood-heated veranda is just stunning. Close proximity to Mt. Buller and great local food & coffee. Highly recommended digs- thanks Vickie & Ed.

A beautiful getaway spot. Fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of board games to keep you entertained in the evenings. Lots of birds and other wild life around. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone that wants a quiet escape.

It was a delightful retreat, incredibly tranquil, and we were warmly welcomed by two adorable cats. I would absolutely return for another stay.

We loved our stay at Helen’s cottage. The location was excellent - it felt very peaceful but was walking distance from the Main Street. The house itself was extremely comfortable and we loved the fireplace and collection of books and puzzles. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Thank you Helen!

can recommend staying here over NYE as a short walk to one end of the vineyard you have an unobstructed view of the city and get to enjoy the fireworks without the crowds! Jan & George are fantastic hosts and it was EXACTLY what we were after: peaceful, quiet and comfortable. The complimentry bottle of their 2021 Pinot Noir is by far the best Pinot Noir I've had (didn't dry the mouth out and left you wanting more) light but full bodied. The views of the ranges from apartment 2 are a landscape artists paradise and look not to dissimilar to Paterdale Tasmania. Thank you again and we will be letting our friends know about this hidden gem.

You can see that thought has been put into this set up. It’s simple but beautiful. Peaceful and fabulous outlook. Had everything we needed without clutter, which I loved. The little things make a big difference. Beautiful linen. Plenty of excellent amenities Kitchen with everything we needed and it was all quality. Sausage dog planter at the door had me from the start! Highly recommended. Great place.

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for our wedding. Penny is incredibly welcoming and generous, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her home is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views that took our breath away. Watching the sunsets was magical, and we loved the serene atmosphere with kangaroos and goats roaming nearby. The friendly cat was such a sweet and unexpected bonus, making the stay even more special. We are so grateful we got to share her space during such a meaningful time in our lives. We recently stayed at this farmhouse in Glenburn, Victoria -- a peaceful escape with stunning views of rolling hills. The house is spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a large kitchen for group meals, and central heating and cooling that made our stay very comfortable. Catherine, the host, was warm and responsive. A few small things to keep in mind: the home has an old-world charm, though it’s showing a bit of age in places. Door and window screens have holes. The bathrooms didn’t have shampoo, so best to bring your own. The hot water ran out on our 2nd night but was back the next morning. That said, if you’re looking for a quiet countryside retreat with scenic views and appreciate space, and aren’t too fussy about the finer details, this place still has plenty to offer. We especially loved the peaceful mornings, watching the mist rise over the hills - truly a soul-refreshing experience.

This was a fantastic place we stayed at which was nice and private and had an amazing view. Fiona was very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our needs, everything about the place was awesome and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

Frans place was so perfectly set up for our weekend away, everything you could need to have a cozy stay including cooking tools and incredibly comfortable beds. Truly the most magical time. Felt very at home

We had a wonderful time at this air b n b! The perfect place for our group of 10 to stay for a wedding. The view is spectacular, we were very sad to leave.

Great place with amazing views! I would definitely recommend this place for a group of 4–6 people, although it’s most comfortable for 4. The location is also convenient - close to shops in case you need anything. The host, Natalie is fantastic. She’s very responsive and replies promptly to messages.

Kylie was incredibly kind and allowed our two kids to feed the horses, which they absolutely loved. The place was spotless, with a beautiful interior, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
