Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Gingers on the Hills is more than just a beautiful getaway. It’s a heartfelt home away fr home. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another holiday rental. Every space is filled with warmth & personal touches that reflect the owner's care & love. The cozy ambiance, breathtaking views, and unmatched hospitality made it the most memorable Airbnb our family ever stayed in. The attention to detail was truly exceptional. Everything we could possibly need & more, was thoughtfully provided, plush linens, organic teas, beautifully curated home decor and nostalgic touches like the vinyl and CD player with a perfect music selection. The generous welcome pack went above and beyond expectations, we felt like we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying at a rental. Kylie & team are incredibly kind & attentive, ensuring that every guest, adult or child, feels cared for. Their thoughtfulness made our stay deeply meaningful. We left with full hearts & will surely return.

We had a brilliant stay over Christmas with our teenage kids. The apartment in a great neighbourhood and we enjoyed the space and the well appointed kitchen, the gym in the building and walks along the Yarra. Supermarket, coffee, parklands, nice hotels and a railway station are a short walk away. The secure car park in the building was handy too. There are many great features to the apartment (eg huge master bathroom and walk in robe, coffee, milk, juice, chocolates and chips were a nice welcome!). Only a few downsides being a smallish (double) bed in the master bedroom, and one of the other bedrooms has no windows or aircon (fine for our 15 year old son but this room might be challenging for a more discerning adult). BYO washing powder and bin liners, which are arguably necessities for a week-long family stay. Good communication with host. Overall - a fantastic stay!

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

The surrounding gardens were stunning and added to the peaceful, relaxing vibe. The location was perfect—close to town and local attractions, making everything super convenient. Communication was excellent, and we really appreciated all the helpful tips on cafes, restaurants, and things to do in the area. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back!

We had an amazing time at Mitch's beautiful property, the house is spacious, clean and quiet at night, beds are so comfy and everything is clean and spotless, Mitch is very friendly and very prompt at responding requests. We enjoy the space so much we highly recommend to everyone ;) Thank you for having us!

Our second trip to Kester's. It's just so lovely, surrounded by bush and birds, the kids played endlessly, the dog sniffed her heart out and we relaxed! Warburton is great and Kester's place is a delight to come home to after a big bush walk and a bakery pie!

Great stay! This was a beautiful space to get ready before a wedding in the valley. Not only was there ample space for our group, there were many interesting places to take photos and enjoy each others company. Stacey was extremely responsive to all of our messages, and the stay was seamless. They also gave us a great local coffee recommendation.

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

Lovely quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Lots to do in the local area. Greeted by Luca the friendly dog, and Tony and Jacky were wonderful hosts who went over and above by providing homemade bread and cake!

Our stay was blissful! Incredible place, fantastic views and hosts everything you need - even complementary breakfast hamper! Love the location. Saw kangaroos grazing in the morning and various wildlife. Decor was on point complementing the stonework and great build! Will 100% come back… Jacqui was an incredible host, thank you!

Such a lovely, relaxing place to spend a weekend catching up with friends! The house was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

We really enjoyed our short stay for a few days out of Melbourne. Lovely location just walking distance from a pub that had delicious meals. Was perfect for the wind down we needed. Excellent quality bedding making it very comfortable stay. The breakfast goods and freshly baked bread was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The owners were very responsive and considerate. Highly recommended.

Absolutely adored our stay here. It was the perfect space for our pre-wedding prep - thank you to Leanne and David for being so welcoming and accomodating to having our wedding photos on their gorgeous property and lots of other cars present on Saturday morning. The property is stunning, the cottage is gorgeous and with the backdrop of the cathedral ranges, you cannot get much better than this. Izzy, the black lab, really topped it off requiring infinite pats (which we were VERY happy to provide!). Thank you so much Leanne and David!
