Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Delhi

The Water Street Lodge is a beautiful space with a stunning view of the Mississippi River. Sitting in the sauna while enjoying the calmness of the partially frozen river in winter was refreshing. The two balconies were nice as well as the porch. The kitchen area was spacious and the coffee area was well stocked with coffee and mugs. Thank you Laura for a wonderful vacation experience.

Our stay was very well organized and had easy directions to follow. We really enjoyed the quiet cabin/lake weekend and will possibly be looking to return in the future, during a warmer month. Darrel was our host and he was very kind and welcoming. Overall a very nice stay.

Very responsive hosts. We did a same night check in and they were accommodating for being last minute. We celebrated our anniversary and they even left us a little surprise.

The cabin was exactly as described! I am not sure why/how people are "surprised" by the train noise when it is stated so clearly in the description. Yes, it is loud.... but we knew that going in and found it quite unique! We made a game of having a Jello-shot when it went by :) *thanks to the suggestion of another reviewer!* We enjoyed local sight-seeing, watching the boats on the river, and soaking in the hot tub. The cabin was well equipped and there is a gas station/convivence store right across the road if you need anything. Laura was an amazing host! Very friendly and responsive to questions. We plan to return again next year :)

Our stay here was so excellent! We loved being on an acreage and getting to interact with the goats, chickens, dog, and cat! The Airbnb was so cute and we loved the deck off the back. The goats liked to hang out back there and it made my day. This location was so beautiful and scenic. We used their map to check out the walking trail, and tried almost every recommendation in their guide book! It was located so close to Dubuque, but gave a nice secluded feel. The hosts were so sweet, and I loved interacting with them! They even left a birthday card with homemade chocolate chip cookies on the front porch for us. What a sweet touch!! 🥰 I would definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful! Well kept trails to walk, great yard for lawn games, large fire pit to sit around and lots of wildlife, especially birds! Cottage was cozy, beds comfortable and hot tub clean and well kept. Short drive to Dubuque. We would definitely stay here again 😀

My husband and I were looking for a scenic place to get away for the weekend that was close enough to our home in Des Moines that we could take just a road trip to get there, and this place fit the bill perfectly. Not to mention, it's adorable, and very close to the beautiful trails by Pikes Peak State Park. This cabin has a lot of incredible historical details you'll love to learn about, and the co-owners know all about those details. They also own a sweet shop right next door to the cabin and I highly recommend taking a look and buying a few things while you're there. The co-hosts are very responsive to messages on the AirBNB app and I never had to wait more than a few hours, tops, to get a reply. Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction. Also, I must add that the photos of the cabin really don't do justice to how charming it is. The flowers and landscaping are just too beautiful for words and the fragrances are wonderful.

We enjoyed the secluded stay at the cabin. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and beautiful evening views of the property. It was a perfect place to relax while in the area for a wedding.

We have stayed in two different cabins now and enjoyed our time greatly. Great location to go to backbone State Park and visit other towns along the way. Very clean and peaceful. We will be back!

Easy check in. He stopped by to check on us as soon as we checked in. Loved the river and of course loved Wolfey’s Bar. Will definitely be returning.

Our stay at the cabin was a great time. Andy, took time to talk to us and answered all our questions we had. The deck was fun looking over the pond. We are excited to come back and stay at the bigger cabin.

Thank you for inviting us into your Airbnb, I loved the farm setting, the fire we had was peaceful and serene. No one around, nice and private surroundings. The sunset was top notch as well! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality, if we are ever in Bagley again, we will definitely be looking into renting the farmhouse again.

We loved our stay at the cabin with such peaceful surroundings and beautiful river views right off the deck. The home was spacious. We stayed there as 3 adults, 1 teen and a dog and we had plenty of room and more. We enjoyed the firepit and chilling, watching the river at all times of day. We saw fish jumping but no luck catching any. We would definitely love to return!

Been staying at the Eagles Roost for 30 years. Always love staying there.

Cute cottage, fully stocked. Sharla always has plenty of towels, extra linens and everything you would need. The only suggestion I would have is to change the shower head as the water just comes out in one stream and not spread out. We had to book a last minute stay due to a family emergency and Sharla's other house was not available. This would be good for a family with kids. The bed situation is not ideal for adults who are looking for more comfort in their bed. Thank you Sharla!

I am so happy we chose to stay here!This sweet little place was clean,smelled good,and had all the things we needed for a weekend getaway. It was decorated cute and i appreciated the fall decorations too. Quiet and private but close enough to do all our excursions in Prarie du Chien,Marquette and Mcgregor.Genna was very communicative and I cannot wait to come back and stay again in the future.Weather was perfect and it was a great,relaxing,and memorable stay!
