The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Deeply relax in this Vastu Chalet by the Lake, set on a one-acre lot. Experience the unique energy of this World Peace community near the Peace Palace and The Raj. Walk for miles on trails around two man-made lakes. Drive just 5 miles to Fairfield, MIU, and all downtown attractions. Enjoy the entire private top floor of this duplex. The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

This luxuriously appointed mid century home opens onto a private deck and parklike garden. It feels like being in the country even though it is just a few blocks to the town square and similarly close to the university. The local grocery store is two blocks down an elley that feel like a country road. A truly tranquil retreat. Free bicycles make it easy to get around and enjoy the 17 mile bike trail that circles the town.
