Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake County

This spot in Libertyville was perfect for us. We came for our sailors bootcamp graduation. It was the perfect distance away to make an early graduation and not too far from Chicago to do some sight seeing.

This house perfectly accommodated my family and I for almost 2 weeks. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom and bathrooms were very clean and the living room had lots of room for my toddlers to run around. We stayed during the winter and the house was pretty cold but they provide individual room space heaters to help, which was great! The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had and were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in this area.

Had a short stay while floors were being refinished at our home. The host was super responsive even when messaged late in the day. House matched description and is in a nice neighborhood close to great restaurants and shops.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this waterfront property on Fox Lake with our three dogs. The home offers direct access to the lake, providing a serene and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The house comfortably accommodated our group, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The interior was clean and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious yard and the proximity to the lake. The neighborhood was peaceful, making it ideal for morning walks with our pets. Additionally, the property's location provided convenient access to local attractions and dining options in Fox Lake. The host was responsive and accommodating, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and that we had everything we needed throughout.

We enjoyed this place so much. Its quiet, private and comfy, perfect for a retreat. We were positively surprised, the house and amenities are in fact better than described. Barrel sauna with spectacular lake views and everthing neccesary to enjoy it. Greg was such a great host! We will be more than happy to come back on our next vacation.

Truly a nice stay! The house is within a convenient 5-10 minute walk of Libertyville's downtown, which boasts a ton of restaurants/bars and boutiques. The only noteworthy thing to mention to future stays is that this is a considerably older (renovated) home, so there are some insulation issues. For instance, the master bedroom on the first floor (with its door shut) was easily 10 degrees warmer at night than it was in the common spaces of the house. Additionally, the kitchen was notably, but not considerably cooler than the rest of the house - I assume this was due to the door that led out to the back of the house. All-in-all, a great stay that easily accommodated our party of 5.

It was nice, quiet and peaceful place. Great place to relax and unwind. Loved my stay, the house had a very homey feel to it.

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Absolutely recommend staying in this home!! My sons were graduating from Navy bootcamp and we all had the most amazing and memorable stay! The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. The host went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, even had a custom cake made for my sons graduating from bootcamp. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a home cooked meal, the hot tub was so relaxing… just an all around perfect stay. Our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in!! Definitely recommend if you are visiting for a navy graduation and want to spoil your graduate (12 min to base) but also even a great place if you’re visiting Chicago and want to stay outside the city. Looking forward to visiting again, highly recommend!!!

Great work out facility and pool still needs some work but depending on your length of stay and needs it worked well for me

We really enjoyed our family weekend. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The pool added so much fun and we really appreciated how secure the door to the pool was. We traveled with a 7 year old and it was comforting that he could not get into the pool room without an adult. The theatre in the basement was great and made the UFC fight even more fun. We chose to cook all our meals at the house. We found everything we needed in the fully loaded kitchen. We also took advantage of the fire pit in the private backyard. My husband and I enjoyed a nice walk around the neighborhood. We felt very comfortable and safe. Also the coffee shop “something’s brewing” is close by and a must stop. We appreciated plenty of towels and blankets. Thank you namestay for hosting us! Great house for a staycation!

This was my second time staying at Alyssa‘s house, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The house is clean, cozy, and comfortable! I slept really well. :) Alyssa is exceptionally organized— it’s so easy to find whatever you’re looking for in the kitchen! And her communication is top-notch. Not only is the house great, but the area is as well! The walking path across the street is a dream, especially if you have dogs! Absolutely beautiful surroundings. We had an incredible time at Mark’s place! The photos definitely matched the actual house and from the moment you walk in you feel right at home. Mark had provided all of the mentioned amenities and then some, and provided personal touches and local recommendations. We visited in the off season, and are hopeful to return in the summer to take more advantage of the outdoor activities around. Definitely recommend!!

Wow, what a wonderful home! It really felt like home--comfortable and beautifully decorated. We appreciated a lot of the amenities including high quality towels and the most comfortable sheets! Phil is very personable and super responsive. The house itself is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the town of Ravinia and the train station. Debora’s place felt like home! It is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with lake access. We needed a short get away before returning to work/school from winter break and this was the perfect place. The fenced backyard is perfect for our dog. We didn’t need to do laundry but the washer and dryer are there should guests need to wash. We had college kids with us who were appreciative of the reliable wifi. The beautiful sunsets are an added treat. Would highly recommend!

It was a home away from home, it was beyond my expectation, clean, neat, peaceful, safe,and close to the navy boot camp where I attended my son graduation ceremony, Yareni was so quick to response to text, very easy and simple direction, it was like am here for you if any question, I would recommend this place to anyone. We couldn't ask for a better location to stay at while attending our sons graduation from Navy bootcamp. The location along with the house having everything we needed was great. Our new sailor was able to come spend the day with us and just relax. We were even able to BBQ one of the days. The house is as described and has everything you would need and more. It was just what we needed . I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I ever need to go back to the area.
