Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Bolsena

Beautiful place, very kind hosts and accommodating. The breakfast was a brilliant extra which we didn’t expect. The village is lovely and has a playground only 5 minutes walk and a little shop for groceries. Great location up in the hills. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you for all your help.

Simona is an amazing host. The place was exactly what we wanted, felt right at home. Cooked amazing meals in that kitchen!! One of us works remotely so seeing the WiFi was super strong (186mbps) we had no trouble at all. She gave us loads of recommendations and the town is perfectly in the middle to enjoy a lot of the surrounding areas in just a short drive. Highly recommend it and we will be back for sure. I stayed in Alessandra's apartment with my husband and my brothers-in-law with the intention of visiting the area. Perfect accommodation for 4, with two bathrooms that gave each couple their own privacy. Everything comfortable and very clean, with many details that made our stay easy and very pleasant. The terrace overlooking the countryside and the lake is very enjoyable and a real poem. It was a very pleasant stay in every respect!

Piero was very responsive. The property was very well equipped and located on beautiful land - surrounded by vineyards and open space across a valley. It was centrally located for our daily trips around Umbria and surrounding regions. It was very easy to get there from Rome airport. Loved the ability to buy / taste their wine which was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again in our travels through Italy.

The house where we stayed was beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Everything is clean and cozy. Mirko also left us wood to light the fireplace, it was very pleasant. Immediate and efficient communication. Convenient location. Recommended!

A secluded and quiet place... for those looking to escape the day-to-day bustle of life this is the place for them. Place is great..... Waking up in the morning and enjoying that view is priceless. There was everything in the house, especially in the kitchen. I think it is strategically located 20/30 from all the main attractions in the area.

Great family run place! Welcomed and greeted by Robert’s mother with a glass of wine that Robert made himself. Robert’s mom doesn’t speak any English but she was just so sweet and welcoming. The view is gorgeous and this place is a true agritiursimo with active vineyard and olive farms. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and it was a fantastic experience from every point of view. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing: clean, cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby shops and tourist resorts. the garden is beautiful and equipped with a barbecue area and the view is open to the valley. Daniela was extremely kind and helpful, responding quickly to all my questions. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay. I look forward to returning, perhaps in the summer.

It was so clean, and the welcome drink and coffee were so good. The bedding is clean and the bathroom is so clean. The food and wine I had at the restaurant they run was the best. I definitely want to stop by again next time I come to Italy.

Denise's place in Castiglione d'Orcia was like staying in a fairy tale. The 7th century fortress/castle behind her place was the back wall of the terrace. And the views looking east overlooked all that one would think of when you think of Tuscany. Every morning I got up and took pictures of the amazing sunrise over the rolling green hills with rows of silver cypress lining dirt roads. Her place is at the top of the hill, right in the middle of the medieval village. You could meander through the medieval pathways imagining you are in a time gone by. It did help keep us in shape staying here because there are a lot of steep uphill walks and lots of stairs, though it is possible to bypass most of them, taking the longer route down to the main piazza. The furnishings also were comfortable and nice, yet period appropriate. Staying here is like living in a history book!

We stayed 3 nights at Ilaria's place. The house is in a quiet residential area of Abbadia, but still close to the center. We found the apartment in perfect condition, tidy and extremely clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay: products for personal hygiene, very well-stocked kitchen and also the necessary for breakfast as well as a nice bottle of 33 cl of welcome prosecco. Flexible and simple self check-in, still present if needed and responsive to our requests. Everything was perfect, Ilaria was an exceptional host!

Very welcoming location, breathtaking view, Susi's exquisite availability and courtesy. Apartment with all the necessary amenities, also equipped with a small functional kitchenette. Recommended for couples who want romantic intimacy and carefree immersion in Umbrian nature. To be repeated!

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

My family and I we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the Umbria countryside. There is nothing we can complain about,everything was perfect,the swimming pool added a plus especially during the 2022 July’s heat wave! The pool was well maintained and daily cleaning service was provided by the owner’s handy man. We really hope to come back next year and make more unforgettable memories at the Hilltop Villa-Orvieto

A neat and clean room filled with warm decorations that feels like coming home.The beautiful scenery in front of the front of the door and the windows directly invites you to your eyes.Bedding toiletries are all prepared with heart.The beautiful house made me want to stay another night, but I have new guests booked, let me leave a little regret to come and make it up next time!

Janet and Nicholas are exceptional hosts :) responsive and very kind, it was a pleasure to communicate with both of them. I must also add their property management company is fantastic, we had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely gentlemen. Top service from everyone. Thank you :)) The day we arrived my first thought was ~ what an immaculate property! The outside has such stunning views of Todi and the surrounding hills, the pool and gardens are truly beautiful, you can tell everything was done with such thought and care. The gorgeous kitchen and outside wood burning grill were our favorite part! Evenings with the sun setting were truly special. Their home is exceptional. We will treasure our week long stay :)

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany! We were able to make use of the pool on the first day with our two boys, 7 and 4. We visited Pienza, Montepulciano and Montelccino. We also purchased two of the wines from the estate. Alex made everything very easy and was a great host!

Renato was very helpful, his very spacious accommodation is well located and in a very quiet area. Great for groups or even large families!

We spent Easter at Sabrinas place (4 adults and 2 children) there was plenty of space and the pool and the gardens were lovely. Sabrina cooked a wonderful meal for us too. The house is beautiful but some attention to detail would be needed for it to really stand out (decluttering and better cleaning)The kitchen is quite small but we mainly ate out. Belvedere pizzeria was great! There are many cats around which our children loved and the owners dogs visit too.

Fantastic host and beautiful home! Everything was as described and spotlessly clean! High recommend!
