Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Almanor West

Loved this rental. It was perfect for our whole family including our dog. It was a safe neighboorhood and not completely isolated which we liked. The hot tub was perfect to soak in after playing in the snow. We have school aged children so we were able to let them play outside with our supervision and build snowman and have snowball fights. The golf course was a short distance so we were able to take several of the sleds Carolyn had for us and found a nice hill the kids were able to sled down for several hours. Overall great place and will visit again.

This was our 3rd stay at Denise’s home, and it’s just as amazing as our previous stays. I am thankful that we have found our home away from home in the beautiful Chester/Lake Almanor area. Her home meets my 3 “C” requirements for a good rental—-Clean, Cozy and Comfy😍I don’t even bother looking at other homes when I’m planning our vacations in Lake Almanor. Thank you again Denise for sharing your beautiful home through Airbnb.

This is one of the more well thought out places I’ve stayed. Everything was quality and the layout and use of space was fantastic. There were so many small touches in this place that made it comfortable and easy to use The host communication was second to none being flexible and kind, but also professional and highly responsive. It’s a smaller single-story cabin, but they absolutely make the best use of every bit of space would definitely love to come back!

- Increible home, it has everything you will need, and talking from surrounding areas is beautiful location. - Host go above and beyond to help if you need anything. - Parking location is really big for multiple cars, that is a plus.

Sabrina was very responsive and the place fit our needs well. It was very comfortable and easy to get in and out.

Christine's place is at such a beautiful and peaceful location with green pastures and mountains all around you. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. Night-sky watching at the hot-spring was so good and we highly recommend it! Christine, Christian and Mary Ann were so nice and welcoming, thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at Patti's place! It was peaceful and relaxing. It snowed and we loved it. Walked and played outside in the snow and warmed up by the wood burning stove. A relaxing stay reading, playing games and hiking outside. The beds are all memory foam and super comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, the view of the meadow, lake, barn and mountains are all fantastic. The road through the national park was closed but we made it to the visitor's center where you could sled and learn all about the park. Hope to come back sometime in the summer to explore more. Amazing place to say, was thrilled all listed amenities were there plus more, from cooking seasonings, emergency foods, games heaters and fans. We especially loved how close the house is to the national park, about 20 minutes, with lots of extra nearby activities. The fresh eggs Elizabeth leaves from her girls are amazing as well. She has great response time and helpful info too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!
