A wonderful place off the beaten track with everything you need and more. Nice to know: the road was a bit rough when we visited in early Spring, but luckily I have a car with high ground clearance. The cottage is pure luxury; floor warming, A/C, a very well equipped kitchen, georgeous views, nice Sauna, tidy bathroom and a very spacy lounge. And the Silence, when sitting on the large terrace at nights. Incredible. We chose this for work, partly based on the fact that Wifi is fast. It was. The host is superb, you get all the information you need and she was most welcoming. I hope we can use this plave in the future as well. It is well worth the price and highy recommended.

Calm villa apartment in the city centre

Greeted on checking in by the hosts. They were friendly, lovely and informative in making sure we knew where everything was and how to use it. House was amazing and had everything you could possibly need. Top highlights was the use of our own private sauna! Great location. Easy to walk to town centre with plenty of restaurants and shops. Car parking spot if required. Neighbours were friendly too. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

Viihdyimme loistavasti tällä kauniilla mökillä Päijänteen rannalla. Ensimmäisenä iltana meitä tervehti upeat revontulet kirkkaalla tähtitaivaalla. Seuraavina iltoina meitä tervehtivät laulujoutsenet, kurjet, härkälinnut, peipot, punarinnat, korpit, lehtokurpat ja monet muut metsän siivekkäät. Mökki on todella kauniilla ja rauhallisella paikalla, ja se oli erittäin hyvin varusteltu. Kommunikointi vuokraajien kanssa oli todella sujuvaa ja he vastasivat aina ystävällisesti. Lämmin suositus!

Yövyimme 5 hengen porukalla Tiinan luona. Tiina vastaili meille todella nopeasti ja oli hyvin auttavainen. Tiinan koti oli ihanan persoonallinen ja lapsillekin paljon ihailtavaa ja tutkittavaa, kauniita käsitöitä ja koristeita. Tarve majoitukselle ilmeni myöhään illalla. Tiedusteluuni vastattiin nopeasti ja toivotettiin tervetulleeksi. Erittäin hyvä palvelu. Kohde oli todella mukava ja rauhallisella paikalla. Upea ympäristö. Todella helppo löytää perille ja sisäänkirjautuminen oli nopeaa. Tämä oli yksi parhaita majoituskokemuksiani.

Suomalaista mökki-unelmaa parhaimmillaan! Aivan veden äärellä, riippakoivut kahisee tuulessa ja ilta-auringon suuntaan. Mökissä kaikki mukavuudet ja todella siisti. Puusaunassa sai pehmeät löylyt ja rannan hiekkapohja kruunasi kokemuksen. Ja mikä parasta, vain tunnin ajomatka Helsinkiin! Kiitos emännälle!!

Our welcome to this lovely place was perfect. Candles lit in the driveway, sauna heating, and the friendly owner waiting to welcome us. The cabin and surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Very few neighbors around in the winter when we were there. Plenty of firewood for nightly sauna and cozy fires in the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to make dinner. We slept so well there! Samuli gave us a detailed written description of everything we needed to know about the place. Includes also were local suggestions for eating, shopping, and walks. He was also very responsive to messages questions. We highly recommend this sweet place.

Such a beautiful spot to spend a few days in Lahti, which is also a very beautiful place too! This was the perfect place for us to stay, we came to Lahti for a long gravel bike race and the house was comfortable and relaxing and had everything we could have wanted, including a hot tub to rest our weary bodies after a long day on gravel trails. Highly recommend staying here to everyone who visits beautiful Lahti - in summer and in winter! Super clean, wonderful amenities, and what an amazing setting nestled into the forest.

Lovely house and great host. Everything needed for a nice family stay. Kimmo and family were very helpful with our check in and out process. The house is spacious and sits in a calm and safe environment. Easy access to public transportation and a shopping center. Lovely patio and garden to enjoy in summer time. All and all a place worth staying at 😊

Beautiful Villa, near to a city and ski stadium

Better than advertised! Beautiful home. Exceptionally clean and neat! The downstairs bathroom was amazing. We loved using the sauna. The outside space was a bonus. Full grill pizza oven and fire pit outside furniture and hammock JP was a wonderful host. He checked to make sure if there was anything we needed. His home is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We used electronic scooters to get around the city. The bottle of wine and local bread and eggs were a wonderful surprise. Ability to go up and down stairs is a must.

We had a great time at Toinis apartment. It is a very lovely place, equipped with everything you could need during the stay and with a personal touch. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The Check-in was easy, we got clear intructions from Toini and the contact was promt and very friendly. The surrounding was also nice with restaurants, shops etc. and the apartment was within walking distance from train station, city center and concert venue (the reason for our stay). We would highly recommend Toinis place and would like to stay here again if we ever travel to Lahti again. 🙂

We stayed at Mikas for an Ironman event. Mika was an excellent host, very proactive with communicating with us and offering assistance both prior to arrival and during our stay. The location was excellent for the race, access to town, and to the lake. Mika let us store our bikes in the garage, which was very handy. We felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better stay, accommodation, or host. Thank you Mika.

Visitamos Lahti por un evento deportivo, la casa de Juha y Sella es increíble, incluso mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos. Nos dieron tour de bienvenida en el que nos explicaron el funcionamiento de todas las utilidades de la casa y nos dieron recomendaciones de la zona. Los anfitriones no tardan nada en contestar en caso de dudas. 100% recomendable para visitar Lahti!
