Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lahn-Dill-Kreis

This is an adorable cottage managed by lovely people. Thanks to Stephen, his partner, and his mother for their gracious hospitality! I am very grateful. This is a historic half-timber home with wood floors and stairs, high upstairs ceilings, and an updated interior. We found the bedding comfortable with bedroom blinds adjustable for sleep promotion, kitchen and bathrooms clean and stocked, patio delightful with sun and bird songs, and overall decor attractive and soothing. The air temperature is adjustable in the bedrooms and living room with both cooling and heating options. The coffee maker is a Nespresso type, and we appreciated the basketful of coffee pods and bottle of wine upon entry! This home is in a peaceful and safe location behind a locked gate with both the owner and the owner's mother to each side. The S-Bahn stop is a short walk away and will take you to central Frankfurt including Romer (download the RMVgo app to buy and load train tickets).

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. You can take many great hikes in the area. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

Perfect for groups who want to spend a weekend together in peace. The house is equipped with everything you might need and above all the garden with many seating areas and terraces is impressive. Ossi is a top host who sent all the important information and tips in advance and answered questions immediately and easily.

We spent a very nice weekend in this vacation home of Lotta. It is located in the middle of nature and was just right for a break from everyday life. Communication with Lotta was super friendly and accommodating. She picked us up directly and informed us about everything, so we could enjoy the weekend to the fullest. Alexandra & Maik's cottage is really beautiful. It is warmly decorated and has a characteristic appearance. Everything is available to make you feel comfortable. You can walk up a hiking trail directly from the cottage. Ideal with a dog. Please note the stairs to the living area. Alexandra was very helpful and friendly. In the area you can take beautiful walks. You also have your own terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, adjacent to the forest. All in all a wonderful place to spend your vacation. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place with beautiful views over the Lahn valley. Quiet with constant bird concerts. Cottage very comfortable and fully furnished. Large terrace all around. There is no television. On cold days, there is a wood stove, no central heating. We enjoyed it, Josephine and Klaas

We had a fabulous time staying at Hans‘s apartment. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old historic part of Wetzlar. We could walk to all the sights and many wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes. Communication with the host was also great. We will stay there again when we are back in Wetzlar. Highly recommend.

I was at a 1-on-1 retreat in Stefan & his wife's apartment for a weekend with a client & friend & it was really nice. Check-in was very relaxed via the key box. Stefan is a really great host. He even came down once to greet us in a friendly manner. Even shortly before departure, he took the extra time to say goodbye to us. When we had questions, Stefan was easy & quick to reach. The apartment was clean, cozy & and decorated with beautiful rhododendron, among other things. In the kitchen, we were greeted by herbs such as lemon balm. It was so nice and quiet in the apartment. Only the birds, a rooster & a train reported from a distance every now & then. It was really nice and idyllic. The garden was indescribably beautiful & also the nature around it, invited us to a wonderful walk. I look forward to the next time!

Carlos & Judith were a great host! Very attentive and responsive.

The accommodation was pleasant. Plenty of space, large sofa with television, nice kitchen. Clean linens on comfortable mattresses. We enjoyed a short week of vacation here. We had some trouble at night from the busy road. And the downstairs neighbors smoked regularly, so we were in smoke above it. However, they are only 2 small things while there are 100 positive ones. We give this accommodation a 9/10 and can recommend everyone to book here

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

Lovely apartment in a historic villa. Beautiful large common spaces with also games for my daughter. The host was friendly, were kindly welcomed by 1 of the temporary residents. We stayed there for 1 night on the way back from vacation in France. There was plenty of time to take a nice walk to the castle and eat there in a restaurant or walk to the center. Plenty of beautiful fairytale castles to be seen in the surrounding area.

We will be happy to come back. It was to our satisfaction.

We had a great weekend at the place. The kitchen is well equipped. We grilled and were able to use the beautiful terrace. Ideal location for surrounding activities such as canoeing.

An old castle that is elegantly renovated and furnished with tasteful furniture. Everything at its best. The kitchen also has everything a larger group needs for cooking. We, a group of 11 athletes, spent a very nice weekend here and can only recommend it.

Plenty of space, beautiful location and nice quiet area. The cottage was equipped with every comfort, although we could not find the barbecue supplies from the description. Beautiful, quiet location overlooking the river. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, everything has to be done by car (except in the village itself). Fine with us, by the way. Good contact with the hosts. They indicated in the cottage that they had many tips for restaurants in the area, which I did not find. Everything is spotless, ideal!
