Family-friendly vacation rentals in Laganas

I’ve been renting on Airbnb for about a decade now, and this is one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed yet. It’s such a good value for the privacy, beautiful furnishings, and amazing backyard with that view. Spyridoula is impeccable at her job without ever seeming overbearing. She had the most thoughtful gifts for us and was able to answer any questions or tackle our requests easily. We loved the massages she arranged for us so much that we asked her to schedule another round, which she was able to accommodate no problem. While it was just two of us, this place can easily fit 8 comfortably. Waking up each morning in the room with the panoramic windows was magical. The housekeeping and grounds staff were discreet and did their work flawlessly. Every taverna we tried nearby was delicious (highly recommend Dopia’s for homestyle food and Da Camillo for pizza). This villa with such a high level of service and comfort was the highlight of our honeymoon- thank you again!

We had a really enjoyable stay at this villa. The host was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, welcoming us with water and other small touches that immediately made us feel at home. During our stay, he was always available, intervening promptly when it was necessary to call an electrician for a small external problem and even bringing us a coffee maker to make our mornings even more pleasant. The house is very welcoming and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the time in tranquility. If I have to find a small flaw, some details may benefit from some extra maintenance, but overall everything was at the top. Also, the host allowed us to check out in the afternoon, which was a big plus and allowed us to fully enjoy the last hours of vacation. In short, it was a really positive experience and I highly recommend this villa

We had a great time: very large apartment, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything. You can enjoy a beautiful sea view from the windows. Quiet area and close to Alykes beach. From there, we moved easily to visit the whole island. Dimitris was really always extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, her mom made us try some typical sweets made by her for us and really great. We recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good in Zakynthos and enjoy the holiday!

Villa Calma was an amazing place for our 3 families to stay. It has amazing outdoor space, a beautiful pool; and swimming in the ocean just down the rocks. Sea there was amazing for snorkelling. Short walk to a small beach and 2 great restaurants. We loved the quiet location. Angela is an amazing host. 6 bedrooms were perfect for us. Kitchen is stocked ok, but would be useful to have some more utensils. Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The family of 4 stayed 3 weeks at Yiannis house. The house is located on the hill above Zakynthos. It is less then 10 m drive to the centre, Port supermarkets and even some beaches. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Yiannis is an excellent host and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an accommodation in Zante. He has given us lots of advices, recommendations. He replied any of my messages immediately. The house is big and can easily host up to 6 people. Parking is safe in the backyard. The area is nice, the view from the balconies is stunning! Sunrises are must to see) We were provided with basic welcome package though the house has absolutely everything for the comfortable stay. Thank you Yiannis. We will be happy to consider to book your house again. The house, as actually an entire island, requires to have a car. We dined in nearby Taverna Acrotiri on Yiannis recommendation and we liked it. The food and service was really good.

The view and quiet surroundings made this villa special. Our GPS took us to the wrong location, but this was quickly remedied with a quick call to the host. The host had fruit, wine and light food staples in the villa, therefore we did not have to go out for dinner after arriving late our first night. What a thoughtful touch! One thing to keep in mind, toilet tissue cannot be flushed down the toilet in many areas of Greece. This island is no exception. Some visitors from other countries may not be aware of this fact. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It was a fantastic villa and great host, we have stayed there for one week and everything was truly perfect. The villa is very luxurious with cleaning twice a week! We found that super nice. The hosts are very friendly and helpful people. There is nothing much to add because this was the best choice we could have made! Everyone enjoyed and loved the stay. Recommending 1500 %

The house was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The pool and veranda were great spaces and we ate all meals outside. The beds were comfortable and linen and towels changed midweek. The owners were very helpful with information about the island. It was perfect for a family with 3 teenagers

very nice place with what you need. Chris is very responsive and helps you with what you need the terrace is wonderfull and there's lot of shadow during the day. also beautifil sunset from terrace very clean appartment comfortable beds, rooms big enough the kitchine has what you need for cooking something fast there is a bbq which we used it several times - very useful there's a pool with free acces the beach is 2' away you have all you need nearby - supermarket, lots of taverns, rent a car

We enjoyed 8 days of this lovely stay at the end of May. What a fantastic place! We thought this was the nicest place on the island. It is quiet and not mega touristy. We had rented a car so that we could easily get everywhere and therefore also seek out the crowds if we felt like it. You can walk to the village if you feel like a brisk walk. Also, Pavlos, the host, is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. Very friendly man and has a lot of knowledge about the island and nice tips about beautiful places and good restaurants that he likes to share with you. Highly recommended! The place was really fantastic, everything is super clean and exactly as described. The view from the terrace is really fantastic and we would come back any time! A single drawback is that you can definitely hear “neighbors” in the apartment next door quite loudly if they are still active late at night. Of course, the host can't do anything about that and the accommodation itself is highly recommended!

The apartment was much larger than expected, there was a large terrace and a small balcony right next to the kitchen, which was great. There were also two bedrooms and the kitchen was superbly equipped. In the house, there are two apartments directly above each other and one directly opposite, so you have to know that it is not totally private. The village itself is very cute, extremely quiet and you can walk to good restaurants within 20 minutes. Nadia herself was very helpful and nice. We felt very comfortable and would come back!

We had a wonderful stay in the farm cottage for three weeks and will not hesitate to recommend the house to our friends and other customers . We would like to thank all who took part - especially Thalia and our Host. He is a very charming person and offered us fresh and biological fruits, vegetabels for our desposal - and Thalia was always a kindly, competent and helpfully person with good suggestions. The area was quiet and relaxing but not to far away from the main sector. You will hear in the morning animals from the farm nearby like chickens, donkeys and peacock`s - we all loved them so peaceful and beautiful. Domino (and the other cats) we had immediately closed in our hearts . Thank you for your awesome paradies and the great hospitality we encountered. We are looking forward to come back! The room was very cozy and a great stay, the balcony was a great addition. If you’re looking to be an extra tan the sun is in a perfect spot to do so. Also any questions about the town or recommendations I was asking for they gave great ones back and also always responded within 20 minutes so all in all everything was great!

Tonia's house next to the beach is a little piece of heaven. We watched the sunrise and listened to the songs of the sparrows and finches under the majestic olive trees. We admired the aerial displays of swallows, butterflies and bats, savoured the aroma of the flowers and just could not get enough. The beach next door is amazing with a nice mini reef for snorkeling in the morning. There are three nice restaurants within walking distance. We loved the veranda with beautiful views and the outside shower, while our daughter loved the swing. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Tonia gave us a very warm welcome and lots of useful tips for places to visit and the best tavernas. We wish we could stay a month or the whole summer :)

We spent an amazing vacation at Nikos' AirBnB. The apartment is located a little bit up the hill (ca. 100m), but is easily approachable by car and even has a convenient way to access it by foot. Since it is not located in the city center, it is really quiet and the view on the ocean from the balcony is amazing. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and offers everything you need - and even if it does not, Nikos is quick to sort you out. For example, we encountered that the provided parasol was broken and just a few hours later Nikos provided us a new one (thanks again!). Further, Nikos is really helpful with recommendations. Only the internet connection was really bad so if you're planning to work there, we would not recommend it. However, it is sufficient for a vacation.

Lovely villa. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings but only a 10 minute drive (€10 taxi) from Zakynthos town. It’s tricky to find but Aliki who lives next door and I guess manages the property was very helpful and spoke to our taxi driver to give directions. Aliki is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Dionysis truly embodies what it means to be a Superhost. From the moment I booked, his communication was prompt, friendly & incredibly helpful, ensuring a seamless experience. Upon arrival, he went above and beyond by allowing us to use the pool while we waited for check-in. He even expedited the cleaning process so we could check in early, which was much appreciated.The apartment itself was immaculate, fully stocked with essentials, including laundry detergent, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. When we encountered a minor issue with a leaking toilet on our second day, Dionysis had it fixed by the very next morning. He was also quick to provide fresh towels upon request.The pool area is a true highlight, clean, well-maintained & equipped with comfortable sunbeds & umbrellas, making it a perfect spot to relax. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and if I ever return to Zante, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Thank you, Dionysis, for making our trip so memorable

There aren’t enough stars for this place. It was very comfortable. Philip was awesome to deal with, and was responsive to the requests we had. The place is like new. It is very safe, and the pool was like a spa. Philip provided a few groceries and drinks to make us feel very welcome! If we are ever back in Zakynthos, we will go back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay – even if the weather unfortunately threw a wrench in our plans. Dina is an incredibly warm host, we felt totally comfortable from the beginning! ✨🦋 The apartment was super clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the smart TV was really worth its weight in gold in rainy weather. The outdoor area with the beautiful garden furniture and the pool also looked great – too bad we couldn't use it due to the weather. We were particularly touched by the lovely welcome gift and even a small farewell gift – we were really overwhelmed! Thank you, dear Dina, also for your many tips and your cordiality. It was really nice to be your guest – we'd love to come back! ☀️

We had a great holiday with our family, including our 2 year old grandson. The setting is lovely - surrounded by olive groves and very secluded. There is other accommodation nearby, but we weren't really aware of it. It's a short walk into the village, with a few shops and restaurants, and a very short walk to the beach, which, when we were there in late May, was very quiet. The beach was sheltered and ideal for children. There were beach bars and sunbeds nearby. The garden and the pool were lovely - the pool was beautifully cleaned every day. The house was cleaned twice during our stay to a high standard. The house itself was very comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the gas barbecue. Helen and Spyros were very quick to respond to any queries that we had and to help us deal with a couple of minor problems. They were very helpful and provided a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and baby monitor. They provided a bespoke welcome pack.

Dionysia’s place is perfect if you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy Zakynthos. The place was really big and open and the breakfast was lovely. Id highly recommend booking this place if you are looking for a nice spot to relax. However, if you are looking more for the nightlife and party aspect of Zakynthos, this place is about a 25 minute drive from the main party area of Zakynthos. Overall great experience however.

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay in Ammoudi. Both Aggeliki and her brother Alexis were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for a relaxed stay and the poolside bar and restaurant had a great menu at very reasonable prices. The whole week was relaxing and that had a lot to do with the way Aggeliki manages her place. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay there again.
