This place was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable. A lot of little touches made it exceptional. I particularly liked having the washer and dryer to freshen my clothes mid trip. Highly recommend.

Our stay was truly special. The location is perfect—with unobstructed views of the ocean, and the soothing sounds of sea lions and birds in the background. The home is thoughtfully designed, and we had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The bench with that view felt like a dream, the hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and the outdoor fireplace was the cherry on top. Bree was warm, welcoming, and very kind. We’d love to return!

The apartment was spacious, welcoming, and spotless – with lovely, thoughtful extras: ample cosy blankets and towels; an amazingly well-appointed kitchen, including a Keurig with pods; an umbrella, iron, and hairdryer; and toiletries! While it was 100% private in the sense that I never ran into anyone during my week-plus stay, you're definitely able to hear your host family living their (engaged and active) lives throughout the day – something to keep in mind, if total silence and solitude are of utmost importance to you. The nights were completely quiet, to be clear! You're a stone's throw from the beach and a long, beautiful hike around Westwood lake; a 1km-ish walk from a coffee shop, pub, and liquor store; and the area is super safe (I felt comfortable walking home alone from my training venue after 9:00pm every night). Danielle was incredibly warm, accommodating, and responsive on every front – going above-and-beyond by receiving a package for me and allowing for a late check-out!

We recently enjoyed a vacation in Sidney, B.C. and stayed at our favorite accommodation - Suite By The Sea. This was our 3rd visit to this deluxe suite. This comfortable spacious suite is absolutely spotless and is complete with everything to make you feel right at home. I couldn't think of anything that was lacking. Kelly provided clear instructions on how to use all appliances and information on local shopping and places of interest. She was readily available to answer any questions that we had. The suite is very quiet and private, in a safe, beautiful neighborhood. There are many parks and a beach nearby to go for a walk. The next time that we are in Sidney we most definitely wish to stay here again. Thank you Kelly.

Sarah's place was just as described! It was very quiet, clean, and the view of the bay was lovely. There are good restaurants nearby and Sarah provided excellent recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

A nice place to stay at while visiting Brentwood Bay. Lots of available parking along the street, a nice clean suite, and a very comfortable bed!

We had a great time at Jen and Jay's place. It is peaceful and cozy. The big picture window and "fireplace" made it a perfect spot for hanging out on foggy mornings, reading, birdwatching and watching the boats emerge from the mist. The location was great for daily adventuring. Jen and Jay were accommodating and easy to communicate with, and added such thoughtful extra touches--robes, snacks, a super-useful guestbook, binoculars, great blankets & comforters. Everything was easy and convenient. We had a great time and would love to come back. (My son might take away one star because he didn't get to meet Oliver ;-) but he loved it too, and said the sofa bed was very comfortable.)

Rachel was very friendly and responsive from signup to checkout; that makes such a difference to me; I appreciated the ease, clarity, and friendliness in her communication. Her location was absolutely beautiful - the view is stunning - the quiet was restorative. Rachel's guest suite is light-filled, clean, and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious; we had everything we needed. The suite and the neighborhood felt very private and safe. The location is close to the village and there are so many trails and beaches nearby. It is an ideal place for one or two people to stay and there is a lot to see and explore. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here and wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Rachel's while on Gabriola.

This is exactly what we needed for our brief stay. The welcoming chocolates were a delightful surprise, the unit was absolutely spotless and the bed very comfortable.

We had a lovely little stay on the way through to the west coast. Michelle was super helpful in her instructions for everything, and finding the house was a piece of cake. The place is cute and clean and a perfect place to rest your head for the night. Beautiful surrounding area, definitely worth checking out!

What a beautiful Place! It looks exactly like the photos - waterfront, lots of big windows, feels like you are on a boat! The suite is very clean, modern, great shower, comfy bed, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its quiet and tucked away, but very close to the charming town of Chemainus. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway with a view, nature, yet handy to shops, restaurants and walking trails. I didn't use the hot tub, but appreciated the cozy robe provided. Angela is super nice, helpful, and you get a friendly greeting from Pip the dog. Loved my stay there!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Andrei’s place. The home was even better than the photos — very comfortable, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The washer dryer was perfect , the place itself was very nice, and the windows brought in beautiful light throughout the day. One of my favorite things was a lovely local coffee shop just 6–7 minutes away on foot. I went there every day, and honestly, their oat latte were some of the best I’ve ever had — nothing I’ve tried before compares! It was a great farm close by that serve fresh eggs and vegetables. You should definitely try it. Anderi was an amazing and responsible host; he had everything well prepared and made sure I felt welcome and at ease. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and well-managed home. Thank you so much,Andrei — I’d definitely stay here again!

Michael provided my mother a last minute stay and was so accommodating and helpful with the accommodation of his beautiful stay. I highly recommend this tranquil and peaceful stay with creature comforts and quiet wooded environment. I had the pleasure to stay with Kalvin and Tabitha for a few times this year. The suite is clean and spacious, and the host family is very friendly and welcoming. They have some little ones and they are very quiet. The instruction is clear and easy to follow. Kalvin and Tabitha are easy to communicate and very responsive. So if you are visiting Nanaimo, make sure to stay with this awesome family.

Cozy quiet suite that offers all the amenities that I needed. Shopping and restaurants are easily accessed if you have a vehicle. Jeff was quick to respond to any questions and advise me of activity on the property that could possibly affect me. I’m really glad I found his site and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
