Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lady Bird Lake

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

We had a great stay for a bachelor trip to Austin. The backyard set up was great for hanging out in the day and there’s a variety of restaurants, bars, clubs within a 15 minute drive. The main room and bathroom were both comfortable and clean. Thanks!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Steven's. It was a very peaceful surroundings with a hot and cold tub and sauna. The living room with a smart TV was a wonderful place to hang out with our family. The kitchen had all of the utensils and cooking appliances we needed and the beds were every comfy. Steven was a very helpful host giving us some ideas of local establishments and responded to our questions about how to set the hot tub temperature slightly higher and the cold plunge slightly colder. The sauna worked perfectly and was a joy to look out over the landscape as we enjoyed sweating. There were plenty of towels for our use. Next time in Austin we are coming to Stevens for sure.

This place is an absolute gem. Wacky and fun, it’s a house with unique charm and character, something that is increasingly rare to find on Air BnB. The bedrooms are a little unconventionally arranged so if privacy for every single bed is your main concern, perhaps it’s not for you. Otherwise you’ll fall in love with this one-of-a-kind place like we did. There were 8 of us staying for SXSW and we really felt like we had a home base. Brian was attentive, flexible and helpful throughout our stay. The neighbourhood is ideal, and walkable. In a world of grey floored rentals and bland, heartless renovations, this spacious home is a whimsical breath of fresh air. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

George was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our group meeting up to come to a wedding. it's a great space for hanging out!

I had a wonderful stay while on a work trip at Obichukwu Joshua’s condo. Directions were easy to follow for parking and check-in. The condo was clean and nicely equipped. The building is in a beautiful setting along the water with a nice pool area.

We felt right at home! The house is in a great location and neighborhood is nice and quiet. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Perfect location for our stay in Austin! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had booking a house on Airbnb. The house was clean, quite, and comfortable! Larry is very thoughtful and answered all of my questions before I thought to ask. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were all top notch. Flexible check-in and check-out. Just an overall good experience. Top of my list for the next trip to Austin.

It was amazing to have little gateway and feel fresh air, we love feeding apples and carrots to horses and donkeys are the cutest. Wake up with roosters 🐔 not alarm..we always come back. Thank you Rhonda! You are the great host.

Beautiful private house, super modern and great WiFi. Fit my friends and I comfortably and created a good environment. It was walkable to the downtown area and was very close to a nice trail that goes under Congress Bridge, which made it great to run or walk in the mornings for some sight seeing and boating. The host was great and always responded fast!

Thank you, Aaron. The guest house is clean, comfortable, and quiet. Both bedrooms have real queen beds that are super comfortable. Also two thumbs up for great air conditioning. This was a great home base for me and my friend for an Austin long weekend of friends, music, and tacos. We hope to be back.

Christina’s place is quiet and beautiful, but a quick ride to town with lots of great restaurants and things to do. The host was responsive and allowed us to leave our luggage before checking in- making our visit much easier. 10/10

Carolyn was the “hostess with the mostess!” Her place was kitschy- cool. You feel like you are in a museum and every corner and square inch is covered with interesting artifacts, like being on a treasure hunt finding new and interesting things at everyturn. There was wonderful amenities inside and out, and the living room was comfortable and cozy. I brought my friend that had never been in an Airbnb and she said that it was a great experience and certainly something that she would never get at your average hotel or motel. Everything was clean and cozy and just so much fun!

We enjoyed our stay very much. When we checked in the kitchen/trash cans were not very clean. Lynn and Jerry were unaware of the cleaning conditions due to the quick turnaround from the previous guest. When we informed them, Jerry immediately came over and cleaned everything himself. The hosts were incredibly friendly, understanding, and accommodating. The house looks even better than the photos, and the outdoor areas are more than perfect!

we definitely enjoyed our stay. Super peaceful and clean. I really liked that it had two restroom. The lake is dried up so you don't get the view from the balcony but you still get to see the deer roaming the area which is nice.

Such a beautiful home in a great location. It was super close to everything you would need. House was spotless, rooms were beautiful. I will definitely be coming back.

Our SXSW production team called this house the “MTV Real World Spring Break House Austin, TX.” It was absolutely incredible. We felt we could get lost in the house as there were so many different rooms and bathrooms. The pool and outdoor areas are fabulous and there were enough beds to cater to a large traveling group of business professionals and/or large family vacations. It takes 10 min to walk to 6th Street and less than 2 minutes by scooter 😱. If we’re lucky enough, we’d stay here every time we’re in Austin. Thank you again for the outstanding time.
