The treehouse is at the bottom of a forest like garden right in the heart of Kilkenny, just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. A true rural retreat in an urban setting. Our accommodation is centrally located, in walking distance from Kilkenny’s main landmark, Kilkenny Castle. We are an easy stroll to the High Street and surrounding shopping and tourist attractions. The Tourist Office is located on High Street. The Medieval Mile Museum is 3 minute walk away. McDonagh Junction Shopping Centre is also close by. We offer complementary parking in our on-site carpark, located to the rear of the The Front Room Bar. Access is through the Archway/Lane beside the Bar.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Tigín (tigeen-small house) with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area. This is a small cosy space with solid fuel heating. The bedrooms have two king size beds. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, etc. The toilet/wetroom has an Triton T90SR electric shower. There is a TV with saoirview channels. The tigín is beside our house. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.
