Waterfront vacation rentals in Lac de Gérardmer

Thanks to Pierrette and Eliane for accepting our arrival in the morning. Very large ideal accommodation near the city center. Accurate description. Everything is within walking distance. We were able to do summer sledding, canoeing, pedal boating, walks to the Bouchot waterfalls. Everything was great. Perfect accommodation, everything is there to enjoy the vacation. Flawless accommodation, perfectly equipped, including for a young child. Everything is very clean, well arranged and functional. Access to the front door can be confusing at first, but once spotted, no worries. Cécile and her husband are extremely responsive: a defective kettle was replaced the next morning. Thanks again for our quality stay.

Fantastic!! Even better than we expected. House is beautiful and we felt so at home. Our 5 year old enjoyed the garden and play room a lot. Surroundings are so nice. We loved it and cannot wait to come back!

A very pleasant cottage, quiet, with quality amenities and decoration, very functional and charming.

We were there with 3 children and the children thought the apartment was great. We spent Easter there. You can cook, bake there... it has it all. It's very comfortable. You can look at the water while having breakfast. The apartment provides plenty of relaxation and space to unwind. I highly recommend it. The manager was friendly and easy to communicate with. The owner is easily reachable via Airbnb. The house itself also includes kayaks and paddle boats ... on the other bank, where the restaurants are, you can rent motor boats and the like ... all in all you have many opportunities to do something on the water. There are several shops in the village, Aldi and Lidl, but not comparable to the German branches, as more like Super U, there is a mega good meat counter and fish. You can go for a walk. And you recover well. The air is great. My kids and my husband want to go back there. That's supposed to mean something. A blessed place to stay.

Perfect location and environment. Quiet, great view and new and very well-equipped apartment! However, it would be useful to clarify that this is a duplex where only the bedrooms are upstairs.

We stayed at the house in October with 10 adults for 2 nights. The size was sufficient, it should not have been more people otherwise you would have had to sleep on the sofas. It was a great fit for our purposes. On our arrival, the house was already premeditated. Sauna and hot tub were very clean. In the kitchen, everything necessary for at least 10 people is available. Free parking for 4-5 cars right by the house. Neighbors were not at home that weekend, so we could hear and celebrate music in the garden without any problems. Ample shopping is 5 min drive from the house. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful chalet in beautiful location. Clean and spacious for a family of 4. Hot tub is great. The chalet is well equipped. We traveled from the UK and arrived into some unusually heavy snow fall, road access to the chalet is steep and we slid around eventually had to use our snow chains, so be aware of that if going in winter with no snow tyres and two wheel drive. Would stay again. Carlos helpful, despite not speaking English and we don’t speak French but made it work.

Everything went well at Mathilde's place. If you like peace, countryside and medium mountains, this Airbnb is for you.

We had a great time at Régine's, the house is beautiful, clean with stunning views. For the equipment, nothing is missing and the appliances are of high quality. The house is tastefully decorated. Regine and her husband hosted us warmly. I highly recommend this rental. Thank you very much.

We had a great week in the chalet, it was a great place for Christmas for us - very comfortable armchairs in front of the wood fireplace, a few minutes drive from the ski resorts, Christmas market in Colmar in less than 40 min by car. Well-equipped chalet, clean, quiet, small creeks around the house. It's just perfect. We'll definitely come back.

We had a nice two weeks in Brigitte's well-equipped apartment. The furniture is high-quality and cozy. We especially liked the large terrace with the magnificent view of the lake. We enjoyed the sun on the terrace and there is also a table grill on which we could grill first-class steaks. Brigitte is a generous and friendly host. We got a lot of excursion tips from her for the area. The area and nature are incredibly beautiful even in bad weather. A detour to Alsace was also very worthwhile. We definitely want to come back again

The accommodation and also the hostess are very nice. For 2 people who want to do a lot, the accommodation is very suitable. The location right on the lake invites you to walks and activities on the water. Very good shopping nearby. We will be happy to come back.

Small but nice, the studio was clean and tidy, the mountain view from the window makes it something special. Quiet place next to nature. Indy was very nice and helpful. I would love to recommend it. Especially for people who want to live next to nature. Thanks Indy for your hospitality.
