Vacation rentals with lake access in La Punt-Chamues-ch

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at the window to the lake. Beautiful views also to the surrounding Tremezzo and mountains along with a very comfortable stay. We travelled to other locations on Lake Como and even had a night in cooking dinner and drinking wine from the local market. Thanks to Elena E Mara for a great stay!

Innocenta and Fabio’s sparkling, spacious apartment was the perfect base for a wonderful stay in Varenna on Lake Como. The apartment itself is beautiful with everything we needed - a great bathroom, abundance of towels, shampoo etc and a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and the attention to detail was amazing. Innocenta and Fabio provided a lot of food and snacks and a delicious apperitivo and nibbles to welcome us. The apartment has a garden for the use of guests with lovely outdoor furniture and a panoramic view of Lake Como. To make this place even more wonderful, Innocenta and Fabio made such an effort to help and advise us - their friendly hospitality added so much value to our experience. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so memorable.

We had a wonderful time in Gera Lario! Gabriele was a wonderful host and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The house was stunning, especially with the balcony overlooking the lake. We felt very welcomed.

Highly recommended. Warm and cozy apartment with a lot of spaces and facilities. The window view from the living room is astonishing and it’s very close to the ferry station to commute to the rest of the di Como tows.

Tolles Apartment oberhalb von Menaggio. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den Comer See und die Berge ist traumhaft. Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung. Das Zentrum von Menaggio ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, gute Wandermöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Georgia Louise hat sofort auf Rückfragen reagiert und war sehr hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Fabio ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er ist rund um die Uhr für seine Gäste da. Man kann ihn alles fragen. Er ist zuvorkommend, freundlich und immer darauf bedacht, dass es einem gut geht. Die Unterkunft sowie Fabio sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Paola met us for check in and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked the trip even after checkout when our plane ride to Milan cancelled last minute she helped us find new transportation. The space is beautiful and close to everything!

Un super logement pour un superbe endroit. Le logement est très bien situé, proche du lac, très très propre et agréable. De plus, les hôtes Lorena et Abramo reste très disponible, agréable et de très bon conseil. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour grâce à vous !!!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

This is a lovely apartment with several balconies that overlook the main staircase and streets in Bellagio. There were so many great shops and restaurants, all within a few steps of the unit. The apartment was very clean and well-stocked and had a great espresso maker! Francesca was a lovely host, and was very responsive. Bellagio is a challenging place to park your car (especially on a national holiday!), so I recommend taking a ferry or bus to get into town.

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay! Fabio was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment is perfectly located, close to everything yet felt so private…. And the view from the balcony!!!! Would not hesitate recommending to our family and friends.

Die Wohnung von Niky entspricht total den Bildern. Die Wohnung war sauber und alles da, was man benötigt. Toll war für uns die flexiblen Zeiten für An und Abreise, alles sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Das Tischchen auf dem schmalen Balkon ist für 4 Personen sehr knapp bemessen, wir waren aber nur zu zweit, von dem her hat er uns völlig ausgereicht. Die Schlafzimmer gehen in Richtung Straße, daher mussten wir immer bei geschlossenen Fenster schlafen. Für uns waren die Betten leider nicht ganz so bequem (aber das ist ja immer eine persönliche Empfindung). Aber ansonsten können wir einen Aufenthalt bei Niky mehr als empfehlen

Sabrina welcomed us with such warmth. The view is breathtaking. Something the photos could not convey. One sits on the terrasse and has the beauty of lake Como and the mountains before one. The peace, the shifting view, from the sun casting diamonds on the water to the moon reflecting on the water. All so comfortable and clean and homely with extra space from the slightly domed ceiling. Sabrina recommended places to go that made the stay magical, one being the Villa Carlotta with the extraordinary gardens. Our stay was too short to see all that is so easily accessible in that exquisite corner of our planet. We loved the stay and we would love to return. and would love to return.

Just a 15ish minute walk down to downtown bellagio. Or you can catch the bus (the stop right next to the apartment) and that takes less than 5 mins. Pool was quite nice. Interior of the apartment was clean and well kept. Host was responsive and nice.

The apartment was very nice and clean and was a great location by the lake. Quiet time was well respected however it does end at 6:00 in the morning and the walls were a bit thin so could hear the neighbors walking around. There was ongoing construction in the apartments surrounding ours which started fairly early however overall a very nice stay in St. Moritz.

Petite maison avec superbe vue sur le lac ! L'espace extérieur est un grand plus surtout pour les enfants (notre fille de deux ans a adoré le toboggan). Nous n'avons pas vraiment profité de la plage privée (car trop occupés à visiter les environs) mais nous avons adoré emprunter le passage secret. Du coup nous devrons revenir en été pour en profiter plus ;) Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Salvatore qui est très réactif et accueillant. Le cottage est très bien placé pour découvrir le Lac et nous avons même fait de jolies balades à pied sur place. Une adresse que l'on va garder précieusement.

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende in der Villa am Comer See! Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt inmitten atemberaubender Natur mit traumhaftem Seeblick. Elena war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr herzlich und die Kommunikation verlief absolut reibungslos. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Die Zufahrtsstraße ist – typisch für die Region – schmal, und die Einfahrt in die Garage recht steil. Mit unserem Opel Astra und VW Golf war das machbar, aber bei tiefergelegten Autos könnte es knapp werden. Kein echter Nachteil, eher eine regionale Eigenheit. Außerdem wurden – wie in Italien oft üblich – vor dem Check-in Ausweiskopien verlangt. Das ist gesetzlich so geregelt, steht aber nicht in der Beschreibung. Auch das werten wir nicht als negativ, sondern als landestypische Besonderheit. Fazit: Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen – absolut empfehlenswert!

This was a fabulous spot to stay on Lake Como. We couldn’t have picked better. It was such a luxury having the garden and being able to swim privately in the lake every morning and afternoon. Once we parked the car we didn’t need to use it again as the place is bang in the walkable centre of all we wanted to see. The first day we walked 15 mins north to Tremezzo where we got the ferry over to Bellagio (which we found heavily touristic but our teens enjoyed all the shops) and we enjoyed the gardens of Villa Melzi . The second day we walked 15 mins south to lovely Lenno - so pretty the waterside promenade and Villa Balbianello. The third day to Tremezzo and Villla Carlotta - lots of Villas! If we didn’t have our teens with us we would have had cocktails in the grand hotel in Tremezzo and we also would have eaten at the lovely restaurant in Azzano (looked like a real foodies haven). The house had such character and was tucked quietly away from the main road. And the views - incredible!

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

die Unterkunft ist ausreichend groß mit einem Schlafzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer einer kleinen Küche und Bad. die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick auf den See und einen kleinen Strand gibt es auch in direkter Nähe:) die Unterkunft war sauber und die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. wir kommen gerne wieder

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Daru’s place is even better than the pictures, incredible views, beautiful bedrooms and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need.

Wir waren für 8 Nächte, Mitte-Ende August, im Cottage und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Der Kontakt mit Marina, Antje und Andrea war überaus freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfreich. Antje und Andrea sprechen Deutsch, was sehr hilfreich war. Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu eingerichtet und hat uns vom Stil super gefallen. Sie ist einfach aber stilvoll gestaltet. Was man braucht ist da und auf Unnötiges wurde verzichtet. Der Hammer ist der kurze Weg zu einem wunderschönen kleinen Strand, den man sich ausschließich mit den Nachbarn teilt. Im Unterschied zu den öffentliche Stränden findet man dort auch Schatten und kann so leicht mehrere Stunden lesend und schwimmend verbringen. Der kleine Garten am Cottage bietet sehr viel Ruhe und Rückzug. Zu unserer Zeit gab es viele Stechmücken. Es scheint, die sind nur deshalb da, damit man sich noch nicht gleich ganz im Paradies fühlt.
