Diego’s place was an excellent get away in El Salvador right outside of San Salvador. The house is beautiful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Diego was very responsive and helpful the entire trip!

The Airbnb we stayed at was nothing short of magical. Nestled right on the beach, it offered breathtaking views of the ocean, with waves gently lapping at the shore just steps away. The sunsets were mesmerizing, painting the sky in hues of pink, orange, and gold, all perfectly framed by the large windows and the cozy deck. Every detail of the space exuded romance—from the soft ambient lighting to the comfortable furnishings designed for relaxation. Waking up to the sound of the waves and ending the evenings with a starlit sky made it the perfect retreat, combining natural beauty with an intimate, serene ambiance. It’s definitely a good idea to have a truck or a vehicle with good ground clearance to get to the property. The road leading to the Airbnb is a bit rugged, with uneven terrain that could be challenging for smaller cars. A truck makes the journey much smoother and ensures you can navigate the area without any issues, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful, secluded location.

If you’re looking to stay in El Zonte, look no further! This location can’t be beat, and it has everything you need for a great stay. You are close to the beach, restaurants and everything else El Zonte has to offer. If you’re sensitive to light at night when you’re sleeping, there’s an LED streetlight that shines directly into the bedroom which is unfortunate. We put a towel over the curtain to block it out! No fault of the hosts :)

Casa Mandarina was such a Beautiful experience for my family. We felt right at home, it was Vibrant, quaint and Peaceful. The fruit growing on the property was delicious, reminded us all of our childhood, short walk to the Beach, spacious rooms and the Outdoor shower was an immaculate touch. Beatriz was very active and responsive. Nelson was a wonderful concierge and was very attentive and gave us great conversation. The food in the area was delicious, the people who live nearby are friendly and approachable. We wish we could give this stay a higher rating because it was Aboslutely stunning ! If you are ever in El Salvador, do not pass on this place! Just make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle because the road is bumpy. Otherwise, I'd stay here everytime I visit!
