The house has now been restaured by one of their grandsons, the present owner. Stone, wood and hand-made clay tiles are the basic materials of this type of rural houses where grain and dried fruit were conserved without heaters or fridges in boxes of pine-core wood, some of which are still carefully kept in the house. Now, they make up a splendid garden full of fruit trees, alongside flowers and exotic plants. The entrance is really a drive bedside many plants including some banana trees.

I was not present on the workshop but Simon, who was leading the workshop informed that it was great! Clean on arrival and small issue with flushing was quickly fixed.

Casa Luján: beautiful modern interiors and views.

We were very happy to have chosen Carmen's house. There is actually not enough space for all the positive impressions! The house is located a little above in the cute village, and with a direct view of the ocean (great sunsets!). The village itself has everything you need with a nice tapas bar with sea views, a bakery, small restaurants, bars and a small supermarket. The facilities are exactly as in the photos, with sun loungers, palm trees and yes, a private hot tub is very nice to have. The key handover is super uncomplicated and Carmen takes care of everything and responds super quickly. We immediately felt at home. The location is also marvellous: you can easily get to the beautiful beaches on the west coast, the Caldera de Taburiente, the volcanoes in the south and Santa Cruz. A perfect holiday destination and very much recommended to stay at Carmen's place!

A well-maintained jacuzzi is situated in a sunroom with large glass panels offering views of the surrounding outdoor area. A small wooden table is placed next to the jacuzzi, providing space for refreshments. The flooring features patterned tiles that enhance the inviting ambiance.

It's been a great disconnect! The area is very quiet and charming, but at the same time it is close to everything, even on holidays we find places to buy. The house is very cozy, everything is very clean, the fireplace and dehumidifier make it prepared for more rainy days, and when it is good it is a wonder to go out to the porch in the sun. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and easy to find. Nacho recommended the top sites, both for visiting and eating, including distances in time and prices, is greatly appreciated! We had more things to see because they rightly call it the beautiful island so we will be back for sure!

We booked to stay at the amazing Casa Rodri in La Palma and our booking was handled by Bookiply. The property was beyond our expectation - it is very clean, spacious and has all the necessary amenities that are required for a very comfortable stay. Bookiply gave us the contact details of the owner upon booking, and we were able to communicate with the owner (Daura) without any problem. She answered our queries almost immediately, and very kindly bought a new fan heater for us, when she found out that we were concerned that the existing air-conditioning type of heating may not be enough for her huge property. Her attention to detail and cleanliness is very commendable. The kitchen has everything we could ask for for simple cooking when we do not feel like eating out. Daura also gave us a huge selection of snacks, drinks, wine etc. We loved our stay at Casa Rodri so much, and hope to return again. It is the perfect get-away for all who seek tranquility and serenity.
