House vacation rentals in La Laja

Excellent stay, very nice house, former host and very good cleanliness, we would definitely visit this house again, Ajijic is very nice to spend time as a family. We were delighted.

Ana has a beautiful home which has been accessible for my wheelchair based father and elderly mother, with all flat entrances and accessible showers and no stairs which can be a rarity in Mexico especially Ajijic. This is the third occasion my parents have stayed with her due to their comfort with the space. It is well decorated, modern and comfortable. Ana was proactive in providing entry instructions making it easy for my folks with their early AM arrival. We had a few miscommunications due to myself personally not having the airbnb app installed during the stay and some linguistic overlaps, but she resolved any of our concerns promptly and was very reasonable with any solutions or accommodations. It is on the pricier side for Ajijic, but offered unique value for our situation and needs. It is not a central location to downtown but peaceful, welcoming and comfortable especially if you spend more time at the Airbnb. Bring your own streaming logins for movies etc Recommend overall

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the B&B. It is not very close to town so if you want to go into town there are options - you need to take a taxi or get a rental car.

a nice place to rest, with different amenities for adults and children. The place is identical to the listing and the care provided by the host and by yuritzi, always pending any needs that may arise. Any damage in the house you report and as soon as they come to solve it, all the workers in the condominium are super friendly and smiling. 100% recommended if you want a moment to relax, if you want to party noise and relax if I suggest looking for another option since they have several rules in the condominium that might not match these needs. But in particular I am very satisfied with our stay in house 17A, room with king bed and in the living room a sofa bed, clean house with all the necessary accessories so you don't load anything. Shops and restaurants less than 5 min in 🚗 and with an amazing view on the terrace.

This house is beautiful, spacious, perfectly equipped, and comfortable. The view of Lake Chapala is amazing, and the view of the mountains is even better. Ulyses is probably the best host I have ever had, always working with us to meet every need. This was a great experience.

this was my 2nd time staying in this airbnb. Great apartment and hosting. well appointed and well laid out, very clean. the only issue, which is not uncommon Ajijic, was the barking dogs nearby and the road noise, especially in the front room. I'm a good sleeper so managed but it could be a factor for some. Barking dogs seem to be ok with locals...to me, it's tedious after a while. That said, I would stay in this apartment again. It is well located on the mountainside, which I prefer. The uphill walk isn't too bad and it's minutes into town. Maria (local host) was very responsive and helpful. Thank you again.

Beautiful space and great location for walking to shopping and restaurant options. Bike rental shop is close by. Easy to catch a local bus (12 pesos to ride one way). Bus is a popular local option so buses do get packed full of people. Taxis available in the Ajijic plaza which is a few blocks away. It is a busy area of Ajijic so yes there are dogs barking and even a couple of cats that visited the court yard. And not unusual to hear music playing. That is Mexico. My own personal preference is for a slightly softer bed, but that's a personal preference. The filtered water was a very nice touch. And the AC in the main living area was much appreciated! For a special treat you can find "Pan Tachihual De Rafaela" a traditional Ajijic bread baked in wood fired oven by a family who's been baking this for over 50 years 1 block up. They do not speak English, but pointing works just fine. The bread is usually ready between 3-4pm, Emiliano Zapata Street #11.

Fer communicated with me from the beginning, he was always available!! The house is easily accessible, with a very good location, very clean!! Really nice, better than in the photos, we really enjoyed the common areas!! Excellent host, we will definitely be back!!
