Casa da Silveirinha - Excellent Location

Perched atop a towering cliff, the medieval village of Marvão offers visitors a breathtaking landscape. Entering the village through the Ródão Gates and looking to the right, the visitor comes across Casa da Silveirinha. Framed, on one side, by the cliffs that lead to the Castle and, on the other, by the immensity of the surrounding landscape, the House provides those who rest in it with the feeling of going back in time and becoming the guardian of the entrance to the village.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
