The whole house is yours! The Bluffside Lodge is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home just steps from trailheads and Grandad's Bluff. Hiking, biking, golfing and Hixon Forest are just a block away. Head the other direction and you're half mile from UW-La Crosse's campus, and 1.5 miles from downtown. This is a quiet dead-end street in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of free street parking. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers. Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a Keurig for pods.

The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. There was an apartment downstairs but I don’t believe anyone was staying there….so no noise from downstairs apartment. I would recommend a car for traveling to restaurants and other activities. It wasn’t really walkable to much. We went to a family wedding and stayed for 3 nights so it was great for what we needed. Would’ve been nice to have a second bathroom but we managed and it was just fine. Lots of closet space for clothes and kitchen had everything we needed. The steps up to the second floor were narrow and steep! Overall it was a nice clean place to stay!

Jose was responsive and hospitable host. The apartment is in a great location on the edge of downtown. Multiple shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Very quiet at night for sleeping. Easy place to do work or simply relax. The couch is a pullout and very comfortable. Very grateful to found this gem!

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. Everything has there to let you just enjoy your stay. It was well equipped and it was also well located. We highly recommend it and will not hesitate to come again if we are staying in La Crosse again.

Cute place! Looked just like the photos. Wonderful restaurant and fantastic cafe just steps away. Owner provided all needed travel necessities - dishes, coffee maker, travel shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Only disappoint was the musty smell in the apartment, like it had been closed up for some time. The place definitely needed airing out. Overall though, a wonderful stay! Would recommend!

We would for sure stay here again! We were there for our son’s college graduation. Beth had a welcome basket with treats and some drinks in the fridge along with a note of congratulations for our son’s graduation. There were plenty of beds and the beds were very comfortable. There were beds that were actually queen and king sized beds. We had 8 people and there was everything we needed in the kitchen and a grill with extra propane. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. We had enough towels for everyone. There were also extra blankets. We would highly recommend this house for anyone traveling to LaCrosse for any occasion. Thank you Beth and Josh for your hospitality.
