Vacation rentals with a fire pit in La Crosse County

Great place for what we needed. Our friend is in a wheelchair and it was great that everything was so accessible for him.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Lydia's beautiful home. The house is cute as a pin. Extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable... We spent a gorgeous afternoon on the deck, overlooking the incredible scenery, and a cozy rain day inside. The cows are so fun to watch and come right up to the fence for photo ops. There's great hiking in the area and La Crosse has some amazing restaurants and breweries. Lydia was incredibly kind and responsive. We will definitely be back -- it tops our list of favorites!

This is a great spot located between Winona and La Crosse with so many things to do! The Airbnb is located right next to railroad tracks but the host does provide earplugs to help with the noise. The directions were very clear to get to the home. The home was very clean and aesthetic! The host provided many board games and the house had lots to do for a quiet night in. Definitely would come back!

Our group of 8 adults were attending my daughter's wedding in town, and this was a good place where we could all be together. It was nice to each have our own rooms. The only difficulty was scheduling bathroom times as only 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was handy when we made bars and treats for the wedding reception and other meals, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. It was nice to have a place to come back to after all the events but still be together playing games, talking, or watching movies. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket and the homey touches as well as the little things people sometimes forget like toothbrushes etc. Everything worked well for our group's needs.

This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

We rented this property to host a bachelorette weekend. Usually, hearing a party as large as ours would scare hosts off. But Lena was so amazing, with not only an early check in, clean rooms, beautiful views but a home so perfect for our celebration. We truly felt as if we could enjoy ourselves, and that we were at home. She has an amazing response time, and is so helpful with any questions, or concerns, and had this unit so much more stocked for things we may need than I have ever seen. Overall, an amazing home and would absolutely stay here again.

Quaint home along the Mississippi River that is well-stocked and the perfect place for a cozy fall gathering (especially with the pellet stove running). Instructions were clear and helpful, Andrew was quick to respond and is a great host! The loft area could be difficult for older guests or small children to access, but fun for kids of the right age.

Very clean and just a quick Uber ride to downtown. Loved the game room set up in the garage! Plenty of amenities for those who like to cook. Comfortable home for sure.

We loved staying at Larry's place. It was pretty simple but had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the huge tub to relax in after a long day of biking. I would not hesitate to come back again.

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

Loved this spot for our weekend getaway to the river. Great place to land after days of exploring. Even better to not have to plan meals because of the fantastic restaurants right on site. Our daughter enjoyed running around and playing on the property. The fire pit was great to relax by. The hosts and the staff at the restaurants were all very kind and accommodating. We will be back!

This cozy apartment is right across the road from the Mississippi River, and there's a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped, and Paula even left us a couple of homemade cookies! This place was very comfortable, and a good deal compared to many other AirBnbs these days - no cleaning fee! Would love to come back sometime.

Our family had a great stay! The unit is exceptionally clean and well stocked. Diane and Pat were very responsive when we had a little issue with the heat. They are great hosts and take pride in offering families a good stay. We plan to stay here again if we return to the area!

We love it here! It quickly became our home away from home! This was our 3rd trip to the cabin and definitely won’t be the last!

Amazing accommodations for a peaceful weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate. It was centrally located so we could explore LaCrosse and Viroqua, but had just as much fun enjoying the comfortable cabin and beautiful views. Without being cluttered the cabin was thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We were especially surprised to be treated to a dozen farm fresh eggs, maple glazed cinnamon rolls, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. The water from the faucet was delicious. Cashton has a nice little grocery store to find last minute items. We explored Wildcat State Park on the way out of town and would love to come back to do some kayaking on the Kickapoo River.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Such a relaxing, peaceful setting!

We had a very nice stay. The beautiful cabin is in a lovely setting . We really enjoyed exploring and the surrounding areas and hiking in different spots. The scenery is amazing with so many beautiful farms . Some of our favorite things to do now in retirement. (hiking and exploring!) Great Mexican restaurant right in Viroqua for those who enjoy eating out . We would definitely come back!

Being on top of the world so to speak, the location is wonderful and beautiful, beautiful, looking down upon peaceful farmland, and hearing the Amish horses clip clop past. very dark at night and very quiet. hearing the coyotes howl; seeing the stars at night is lovely. there was wood provided for a fire every night Which was included. the only drawback is there is not really a kitchen so if you like eating out, there are not a lot of choices for that but bring ready-made food and use the barbecue grill as much as you can. They provide briquettes and have a very nice electric skillet and coffee maker , but it’s a little tricky figuring out where to set things to cook. If You don’t plan on cooking. Much it is a wonderful place to stay. Thanks Kathy

This is a comfortable place in the middle of a great trout fishing area. This makes it very convenient for us. It's close enough to stores and restaurants, yet has a country feel. We love that they accommodate and cater to our dog. We return every year and can't wait until our next stay.

The cabin was better than advertised! So peaceful and such a beautiful setting! Hosts were proactive and welcoming. Will be back!
