Very nice little house with garden. Very quiet (we slept with the window open). Very clean too. There is also a washing machine. It's all here 🙂 Perfect location to visit the castles of the Loire Valley. Chenonceau is within walking distance. Very nice restaurants in the area too (but better to go by car). Very nice small bar on the banks of the Cher, where you can walk from the house. The bed is also very good. The mattress was very comfortable. We slept so well ☺️

We were very warmly welcomed by Justine. The accommodation is very clean and good quality and it is close to Amboise. The breakfast provided by Justine is a real plus. Beautiful accommodation with a fenced garden for the dog. We'll be happy to go back!

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Great Location, in Short walking Distance to the city center of Amboise and its castles. Also great with little kids. Spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen. Great value for money

well situated apartment with view to the loire. parking in a lockup garage very safe and convenient. a bright safe clean apartment with a bit of character and charm. Convenient to shops restaurants a small supermarket and the chateau and gardens. Host very helpful. Will stay again.

Jessica is experienced, the instructions are clear, the accommodation is very clean and close to the TGV train station. The accommodation is well arranged and all the necessities are available.

The place is beautiful and very well maintained, ideal for children. There are 3 cottages in the same place. We had the one upstairs, very cute, 1 bedroom under the roofs and the living room also so 2 rather warm rooms. The host was very nice, we were able to arrive at 4 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.

We enjoyed ourselves. Perfect. Obviously, we'll be back. Thank you so much.

Bénédicte is a very responsive and pleasant host. Its accommodation, located in a quiet residence with parking space, allowed us to be close to the Beauval Zoo Park. Everything is as described. Clean, tidy, and arranged. The instructions were very clear. We had to rent her other accommodation on a different date, having had an organizational problem she was very understanding and accommodating. We are sure that this other accommodation is just as impeccable. Thanks again for that. Emma and Leo

Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.

Very well-equipped apartment. Everything is sparkling clean. Within cycling distance of downtown with many restaurants. The bakery is within walking distance to get delicious baguettes in the morning and more. Supermarkets are also in close proximity. Bicycles could be safely stored in the basement room to the left of the apartment building and the car can be placed in the open parking space with a locked rack. Places to park.👌👍

Small but very functional apartment and very well arranged to save maximum space. There were 4 of us including 2 children and we slept perfectly in the apartment. We were even able to unfold our crib from the baby and move around the apartment easily. Located on the heights of Montrichard, the view from the balcony is clear enough to admire the surroundings. The location of this apartment was perfect for going to Beauval Zoo, just a 20 minute drive away! Great value, tidy and clean, I recommend this apartment!

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

We just returned from our stay in Blois and we were very satisfied with the residence. The location is amazing and the house was a great value compared to others we researched. We ate lovely meals there with food from the local shops and enjoyed the view. There are a few caveats to share that didn't negatively impact our stay, but should be shared for clarity. There are two toilettes in the house on two different level and they are shared by all guests. There are in-room bathing and sinks in each bedroom, but only one room has a stand up shower. The other two are designed to combine with a bath. There is another shower on the main level, but it is not as convenient as having it in-room. There is also no realistic parking on site and the center town is crowded. We used the paid parking that is very close and convenient, but was an extra 15 euro per day. Lastly, it is good to know this is an old building with neighbors, so there is some noise. Our co-host was also fantastic. Merci!

We had a great time at Bertrand's place. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool. The listing matches the photos and descriptions perfectly. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks for the stay.

A great place to stay! A few things were a little broken, and needed repair, but overall a great spacious flat. Could have done with more cooking utensils and pots/pans as we struggled to cook with what was there! Fab location- loved the street. Great outdoor area & private parking which was exceptional.
