We had a great vacation. The accommodation is very functional and very clean. We were hosted very well by David who has very good advice for sightseeing in the area. We would recommend it in a second.

Quite demanding by nature, I can say that the accommodation is of very good quality. Excellent cleanliness and level of equipment. No complaints. Nathalie was there when we needed her. We have just spent a week, July 2024, a family of 12 plus a baby, at this very beautiful house. There is everything and more you could ever need. It is quiet. It is a beautiful area and the village has a beautiful bakery and supermarket. The beach is approx 15 mins by car. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The kids played tirelessly in the beautiful big pool. The house has cots, high chair and even toys for the children. It was my 60th birthday and my family organised a local private chef (Manu chef a domicile) to cook for us, recommended by Will and it was amazing. We picked up hire cars at the train station also recommended by Will. The whole process was more than easy. We had the best time and would highly recommend to a large family. We hope that this is not the last time we stay at this stunning house and hopefully not our last time in La Rochelle. Holiday blues are real when you’ve visited such a beautiful place 😊

Very good welcome , nice house, very clean, 2 large bedrooms, quiet environment at the end of a cul-de-sac, fluid and pleasant communication with Claire and Yann. Pretty places to see: Château d 'Oleron, the lighthouse, the edge of the ocean, the pretty colorful houses of Fort Royer...

We had a great time at Sandra's. The terrace with the jacuzzi are really great. Very very quiet accommodation, very clean, very comfortable, very well decorated! We were passing through to go to the southwest, we would have liked to have stayed longer!!

Amazing place, conveniently located on the island of Oleron. Very well equipped and spacious. Ideal for a family weekend getaway where everyone has their own space and privacy. Jennifer is a very pleasant, responsive host with great tips. We highly recommend it.

Vanessa’s home is extremely intimate, the house has been in the family for generations. But the renovation makes staying there a dream. There’s are so many personal and special touches. The bedrooms and bathrooms are charming and efficient. There is lots of hot water and water pressure. The sinks and showers are big enough to feel luxurious. The kitchen is so well supplied you know their family enjoy it. The location is superb, both central and private. Having a laundry was great. And Ile d’Aix is an out of this world wonderland.

The house has all the necessary amenities for a serene and quality stay. The beach is within walking distance (about 5 minutes), as well as a bike rental, which is very useful on the island. The house, although next to a road, remains very peaceful, from the bedrooms and terrace in particular. The pool (heated) is very nice, and it is possible to enjoy the sun in the shade all day. The exterior perfectly completes the house. As in the photos. The accommodation is very clean. Sonia is a thoughtful host, available and responsive. It's tastefully decorated, which is a plus:) Finally, in season, the bus passes right next door and it is very easy to park the car in front of the house.

We booked to spend some time on a family vacation and it was very nice. The accommodation is very comfortable, spacious, as shown in the photos and the garden is very nice. Bernard is very welcoming and Michelle has decorated the house very well.

The house is tastefully decorated, the place is quiet and conducive to recharging your batteries. The proximity to the beach is a real asset. The owners are very responsive and always willing to answer any questions. We had a great time.

Accommodation as described, beach, accessible in two minutes, unsupervised, without being crowded with people. I recommend a stay at Sandrine's, apartment in a quiet residence.

Laurence & Antoine were very welcoming (clear and exhaustive check-in instructions; arrival gifts), very responsive in exchanges and available to come on site if necessary. The house is very well located in the heart of the city; while being close to all amenities (covered market 2 minutes away, shops 5 minutes away and cinema 10 minutes away) it offers a lot of calm, no nuisance. The garden allows a truly private space without any overlooking. The stove works very well and made it possible to heat the house very pleasantly during this winter period. The kitchen is well-equipped. WiFi and connected TV worked very well. The renovation of this cellar is recent and of quality. Finally, Laurence and Antoine were very understanding about check-in and check-out times. Highly recommended for these hosts and this rental.

The accommodation is very nice and bright The bedding is extremely comfortable The only point to improve would be the sofa which is not comfortable at all This is just one point for improvement because everything was impeccable. The best city and place to stay on the island from our point of view

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

We had a great time , the neighborhood is very peaceful . The house is bright, well equipped, the host Guillaume is available and very nice . The nearby bike path is a plus for safe driving with 3 children aged 9.7 and 3. The beaches are close and perfect for a bodyboard initiative.

Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated, very functional, complete equipment. Large public parking right next to the apartment. I highly recommend it.
