We had a fantastic stay at Melograno! The place is located in the centre of Matera which was very convenient for my elderly parents. The accommodation has an amazing view of Matera, is beautifully decorated and it is exactly how is shown on the photos. Anna is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place 100%. Francesca

We had a great stay at Villa Anna. The house is nicely decorated (what a beautiful view from the bedroom and bathroom) with an eye for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Finally, there is a large terrace, ideal for a BBQ or aperitif in the sun. The house is also very suitable for (young) children. I'd recommend to anyone.

A perfect home away from home. Marzio is an excellent host. His place ticks every boxes. Peaceful, rustic with charm, super clean, well decorated, over the top equipped, extremely comfortable. The cherry on top of the cake is the fabulous housekeeper Maria, always present, yet very discreet, a real addition that makes you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. We have been travelling quite a bit and never been in a better B&B, especially for the quality of the service we received. It’s so true, that when you travel in southern Italy, every family welcomes you like you are part of theirs. You won’t regret staying here. Thank you Marzio, Antonietta and Maria, we’ll come back for sure.

Incredibly amazing views. The property offers everything your heart desires. The kitchen is not up to date, but we got along very well. We can recommend the place to anyone looking for tranquility and an incredible view of the sea. We will definitely be back.

At the end of March, this is a place for people who love absolute peace and seclusion. The terrace has a beautiful view over the bay and when you fall asleep you can hear the sound of the sea. The space was small, functional and very well maintained. In terms of space as well as seating and sleeping arrangements, we imagine the apartment for longer stays for three people as too small.

Location in new town on edge of old town with private parking was what got me to book this property. We walked to all places with farthest walk being 20-30 minutes to other edge of old town. Host was always responsive and local recommendations and help with booking restaurants was so valuable. Bedroom on mezzanine can get warm on a nice day but there is AC. This room also is next to street so street noise can be heard for light sleepers. Second bedroom is cooler and quieter. Really enjoyed our stay in the spacious home.

We spent a very pleasant week of relaxation, and their home is a small corner of paradise for those looking for peace and tranquility. We had a wonderful Easter thanks also to the good weather, the house is perfect for ten people, a very well-kept garden and clean new outdoor barbecue with a very comfortable sink, the rooms are spacious and spacious, and the three bathrooms made sure that no one has ever had any difficulties whatsoever. Outside the large table with chairs but also the coffee table with armchairs gave us unforgettable moments of relaxation. A few km from Palinuro and very well-stocked supermarkets. Extremely responsive host for any needs. For any request, they responded right away without creating the slightest difficulty. Suitable for dogs because the garden is completely fenced. In short, we really found our slice of paradise.

Bettina's place, the Borgo, is one of a kind. Nestled in the Cilento mountains, we woke up to the sounds of bird song and cow bells. From our terrace, we could view the sea, and at night the stars and twinkling lights of towns across the valley. Casa Sottana where we stayed is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was quite chilly weather when we visited, but it was easy to fire up the wood stove which quickly got the radiators throughout the house nicely warmed up. If you enjoy peace and quiet and being surrounded by nature, we highly recommend Bettina's place.
