Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kymenlaakso

The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!

Book it! This place is incredible! From the responsiveness of Tina, through to the absolute serenity and beauty of the surrounding area plus the stylish, no expense-spared, very new and modern cabin itself. We (family of 4, including 2 in mid-late teens) had a wonderful time, relaxing in nature, walking on a frozen lake, cooking on the grill and in the very well-stocked kitchen. You definitely need a car to get there, but once there can forget everything and properly relax. We’d certainly come back. It’d be fascinating to experience in summer as well as winter.

Very nice Airbnb. Right on the sea. Very modern contemporary. Great for all of us. We had 7 adults and one young child. We did have some difficulty using the smart pad but the host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Already the third time such a relaxing week. Merja is a great renter, always friendly, responds to messages really quickly and keeps the cottage so tidy and clean that it is certainly nowhere else. I highly recommend and look forward to being able to go again in a year!

I stayed at Matthew's house, and it was great. The house was cozy, and the fireplace was excellent. I absolutely loved spending my evenings by the fire while the wood was burning. You can definitely tell that this house was built for a family to live in and not just for renting. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary items to make your stay comfortable. I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem.

We spent a week at Johanna’s cabin - the cabin was in a great location, the sauna was excellent, very easy to swim in the lake and lots of great walks in the area

Nice place in a great location

The apartment was cozy and cozy. It was clean and everything was there. All beds were excellent, including a mattress to put on the floor. Communication was smooth and quick. The parking lot and apartment were easy to find with the instructions soon. We also got great tips on places to eat and see.

This place was absolutely adorable! A cozy and cozy apartment inside 200-year-old logs. The "energies" were inviting and warm. We had a good night's sleep in a good bed. In the morning, I was able to refresh myself by taking a dip from my own beach directly into the Kymen River. A private shower and toilet were a big plus. A stone's throw from the wellness center where I was 4 days at a yoga retreat. It was nice to walk to the place with the birds singing. Tiitus was a friendly and considerate host. "Peaceful Nature Escape" is the perfect name for this property. Thank you 🩷 I can warmly recommend to everyone who comes to stop at the stunning Swedish holiday in Ruukki's milieu. See you again next year as the retreat continues!

A wonderful place in a stunning historic and rustic milieu, yet close to services. The beach of the river was enchanting and we had a very warm weather, so swimming and paddling in the river was a favorite thing there. There was a big yard where it was great to play badminton and soccer with kids, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a great setting for cooking and enjoying! In the heat, the ice maker was absolutely a bonus! It went very well!

Very nice and clean place. Beatufiul lakes. Everything was as i expected. Bonus was that near this place was canoue and boat rental.

My stay at Galina's cottage was wonderfully peaceful. We spent three nights there, and it was exactly what we needed. The facilities were great, and the lake added to the overall charm, even though we didn't have any luck fishing. Galina was a fantastic host, and we left feeling refreshed. Highly recommended for a tranquil escape!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely Finnish experience and we would definitely look to come back again. The facilities are great. Everything for a tranquil few days was there. We were sad to leave. Thank you .

We had a very peaceful time in this very nice little cottage. Perfect for 2 people. Beautiful view. Absolute calm. Lake easily accessible by a bathing ladder for swimming. Very nice sauna. 20 minutes from 2 supermarkets by pretty unpaved roads in the forest. Thanks Marjack for your explanations.
